That look like the soft Maple i have milled. The outer bark is the same as the maple i cut.

Hello Mr Kirishima I was so happy to see your CC in English!! at the start, you have such a range of beautiful woods in your videos it would also be lovely to get your comments during the sawing process and information about what you are doing, the steps in the process, why you cut certain thickness, even explanation of what is written in chalk on the end of the tree, is it an order? and what it will be used for. Your knowledge is precious and highly valued and anything you can tell us (in english) would be very gratefully received. My husband and I have seen all 78 of your videos and look forward each weekend to see you new installment. Some information on how you obtain your wood would also be interesting to know. (*^_^*) Thank you☆☆☆ You guys are a good couple too. The numbers written in chalk on the cross section indicate the size of the log. In the future, I would like to introduce the state of the market in the video. We are very happy that you also remembered Catherine. We don't have any plans to get another dog at the moment. In addition to dogs, we have two cats and one eel. The cat's name is "Matsu" and "Leo". Matsu is a grandmother who will turn 18 this year. We were worried when she suddenly became weak the other day, but she managed to recover. My husband and I will continue to work together. Hope you are doing well too!

Does the camera show verticle streaks that the eye can not see? The second slab on the stack had verticle streaks on the surface.

Thank you for your comment. (*^_^*) As we carefully advance the saw blade, there may be vertical saw marks.

You are just the best sawmill on my iPad. Neat and orderly and with the cutting of the large tree logs done with care and precision. A very professional outfit producing quality lumber with the knowledge and experience gained over many years, I suspect. I am so interested in all the different woods, trees I have never heard of. I simply can’t stop watching, I’m fascinated.

Please give your wife a bowl of water and a sponge or cloth so she can wet the wood and show us the grain of the wood. It doesn’t show very well on computer
