When the country is doing good at least comparatively better than other scam governments , mood is high, economy is going up hill and world has started respecting India and there is a sense of positivity, then here we are jokers like Arfa , Wire , print , karan thapar , news laundry , Abhisbek (that modi basher), Guhas , etc etc start crying and creates this sense of negativity is so hilarious and irritating at the same time to watch. Guha thinks he is objective but he too couldn’t get out of various biases which he accuses Modi of. His wholesale condemnation of Congress will have few takers.

Our democratic system has generated political leaders with huge money which came to politics with modest family background. Most of the political parties are run as family businesses.Even many journalists are happy with this situation.

It is not wrong to say that India have ONLY party leaders running the government and NOT national leader. It is not wrong to say that the ruling party live 24x7 on the past. This is the reason EVEN constructive comments made by citizens is seen as FROM opposition parties. The result is...Rulling party 24x7 ONLY manufacturing consent; Rulling party 24x7 think and act as if citizens are irrational, illiterate and bunch of stupid mob. They may not say but their actions vividly suggest that. Challenging days ahead.

I just love to see Ram Guha on any platform be it The Wire or Mojo......his frustration is appalling and the way he has changed his positions on issues is being belief.... Way to go for Indian Liberals

What he has spoken is the truth somewhat.His confident comments however are colored.On what basis does he label CM Yogi a fanatic in a negative way ine can't see. Asserting India's being Hindu (larger context) is looked upon as extremist at a time when terrorism worldwide is a threat. Muslims who have sought an Education are in good positions too. There should be a data that shows that Muslims,Christians,Parsis etc are discriminated in our job market. Or else again it is merely a narrative.

The way and style that Mr Guha spoke in ,it seemed that he was playing to the galleries. The depth was missing in his statements .It seems he can easily backtrack from a lot of his claims .eg Hailing Nitish ji as a Barack Obama and then withdrawing now lamenting that he did not fulfill his potential .Then why did he compliment him and compare him with such famous people in the first place ? And then also conjuring a montage where he can lead the Congress . Inspite of his foreign education ,his style and manner is reminscent of some of my relatives who have that rustic style where it's all about making grand statements and self centricity . And when they speak ,we others in attendance can just pass wry smiles or shocking glances to each other and let them have their way as interjecting them would upset them .

Repeating a 2017 interview after 5 years is pointless. Most of what Dr Ram Guha said then sounds out of place and irrelevant today.
