No, we have the option of saying no, fallers aren't easy to come by, not like truck drivers.

Not nowadays. Can't find loggers like you used to, especially good ones.

People are so commie indoctrinated that they think employers owe them a job. If you think a job is too dangerous or beneath you it is the employers right to replace you.

Bjarne you do some amazing work! I was climber for 40 years but worked a couple seasons with Timber fallers. You work makes climbing and rigging big trees feel like a holiday. Maybe it’s a case of what we are used to. Anyway love your channel!

It amazes me that company's like the one you work for are so safety driven by always having you and your co-workers doing radio check in's on timed interval's along with all the other safety precautions you guys have to follow which Is good, but then it seems to throw that all out the window by putting you guys in direct danger zones or doing these type of high risk jobs that are not what faller's should be doing in the first place; just seems to defeat the purpose and fly in the face of the whole point. This stuff should be left up to a crew being paid "danger pay" so to speak that are trained to deal with high risk situations and that's all they do, but I don't work in high mountain logging so I don't know what's expected of you guy's. You put out some of the best logging content on YT thanks for sharing a bit of what you do, take care.

You do realize that some people pay a fortune to see the sort of scenery you see every day. Stay safe, it's nice to see a company that takes operator safety so diligently.

One runs out of suitable adjectives to describe the grandeur of the view from your office window, Bjarne and we know that you do not take it for granted either because of your incidental views of the distant mountains. When you said "Cool!" at the wind-blown snow from those peaks, I thought, "Yes, cool literally and figuratively!"

someone screwed up and made a bigger Hazzard for you that's not cool i know that is life and logging sometimes. But Jesus christ don't do something if they aren't going to do it right because this is a result of someone that didn't know enough on how to do it properly and look what it is left now because of thst lack of skill.

2 man job, wrap the tree with at least 6 wraps of Primacord®detonating cord, ensuring the cord is close together. Push a sausage en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tovex onto the cord so that it can be placed lower in the 1st loop and downward side of the lean. This sausage creates the undercut then the cord shatters the wood because it will blow into the void. Would love to see this on video, that tree will shatter, even explode when it lands. Talk about noise!
