Nice one Ben, shame they didn't give you more of a run for your money. As you say quite a contrast to last seasons weather. Hopefully it's a bit nicer when the Mr2 championship gets there in August.

Thanks man, yea I think that maybe the weather upsets their cars more than mine. Watching them on the Friday test they were very loose cars although very fast! But in the wet I think that lively setup can't make life easy. Plus brands is like my home circuit, we're at combe next which is theirs....so we'll see how well track knowledge plays out. Good luck on your race!

@@BenR22 Brands is a certainly like that, track knowledge is very helpful, personally I just drive the outside of every corner in the wet there and it seems to work. I very much doubt I'll be able to replicate my double race win at Brands like last year, but I'll have fun trying. I have to endure the thirteen hour drive to Croft from Devon first. Must be bloody mad!! Good luck at Combe, I hope they give you a bit more of a race.

@@bubarowe Mindset bro! I expect 2 wins now, FL and Pole! Expect to win, work harder when you don't. I wish we were racing croft this year, awesome circuit. Looked at other race series to drop into just to race there this year, but their calendar is pretty sparse.

There are 3 classes in our championship. A-260bhp/ton B-200bhp/ton and C-145bhp/ton. Along with that are varying degrees of freedom for the faster cars in terms of suspension, brakes, gearbox and aero. So there is a big speed difference between the slowest and fastest. The fastest class is the least we'll supported because of cost most likely, but it is the stepping stone or progression through the championship that we hope drivers will move through. There are some very fast cars and drivers in my class and I'm really hoping they push hard to get in the scrap. A few cars are still in build so hopefully as the season progresses more will turn up and the front cars will have more of a battle.

Ali and Steve not racing this year? Seems as though the other quick cars have moved on?

Thanks. Unfortunately the next step up hugely expensive and I've been trying to raise all the sponsorship, but it's near impossible. And I'd have to drop to something slower to close the racing and engineering the car is half the fun for me.

Another whitewash..... literally☃️ Maybe you should look for a more competitive series though. With your record there must be some opportunities in the bigger leagues.

HHa thanks. I'm hoping the guys pickup pace and I'm trying to help them where I can. And yes, I've been looking and it's hard to find a place for the teg to go. I have had an offer to step up to a national series, but the only issue is budget. I only got 20% of the required funds sorted before the season started, it's really tough.
