@@clutchcarabelli8054 Cocaine was one of those drugs that you needed to have the money or you got turned on to it by other people. I was never turned on to it. I had to waste my money. It never stuck with me because it was too much I couldn't afford it

I'm impressed with how the roll cage was fit into that small interior and it goes with the flow of the body.

This video put a huge smile on my face and got me laughing at your amazement the power that car has. Don't even have to ride in it I can see it's friggin insane!!! I need one!!! I'm retired and I've been looking for a fast project car and I think I just found it. Logrhythm's are great!

Looks and sounds great! I just watched the EV cobra video and you can see the visceral experience difference. Look at the smiles, laughter and excitement the engine/shifting gives.

Sidepipes sound really nice. New school drivetrain under an old school Corvette. Very cool. Looks like a lot of fun to drive. Be safe and stay well.

Definitely one of the best sounding engines ever. I've seen a LOT of videos of people driving extremely high-powered cars, I don't think that I've ever seen anyone who was as frightened of pushing a car as this, and it seems to be a completely reasonable reaction to this car. Would have been nice to hear it wrapped up to 8k, though.

That sound is intoxicating. Brings me back to the days when my dad and I would go to the local circle track and watch the big block modifieds race.

The Cobra is great but I prefer the thundering noise and all the shaking and vibrating that comes with it

So this car is 7/8 scale of a real C2? Never heard that about Grand Sports. That sound is insane!

This was excellent merc is a killer motor. The nostalgic value of this story was so cool. I remember reading magazines about these vettes and watching black and white footage on that area. Really bad ass.

i don't believe it ! mercury sb4 is actually a LS - chevy engine block with sohc heads and matching manifold ? that sounds good !

I love the history of this C2 it's always been a Dream Machine of mine. Just a rude crude pavement pounding monster.

Beautiful. One year for Fathers Day my daughter took me to a car show. When we got home she says to mom, well you was partially right, he would love to spend the day with me at the car show. He was like a kid at Christmas morning. Its the part with me, that he forgot few times :-). She had asked me what id give for the split rear window 63 StingRay vette that i drooled over, i asked her if she would miss mom. She says she doesnt get what us old folks see in those ugly cars. Grr. Her born 1996. Me 1967 when they made real cars.

Holy hell that thing has power

I go to my parents often and once a week I’ll show them various KZread automotive content - since they are lifelong Hot Rodders/Auto Enthusiasts (in their 80’s and still rocking). My mom asks to see if Autotopia has anything new and my dad loves Hot Rod Hoarder. Of course Banks, Richard Holdner, Uncle Tony…etc get watched but when MOM asks to see what Sean is brewing…you gotta deliver. Haha.

We've retired from listening to men years ago. You're really slow.

I fell in love with the Superformanc GS the first time I saw one. I live in London, Ohio and we have the Cobra Nationals show here every Summer. Supeformance usually has a display here. One year they had one of these and a Cobra Daytona street car sitting side by side. Both with A/C and all the creature comforts. I'd take the GS, but they were both just stunning. If I remember, the GS had an LS7 in it. You could get it over 650 at the crank with heads, cam and tuning.

The rear suspension failed.

The only old Vette I like😈 Man if only I could do what these guys do. I bet every day is a blast to go to work. North of 2k🤔 well I could sell my house, buy a trailer to live in and one of these😌

When I hit the Powerball or Mega Millions, Superformance is one of my first stops, and this will be my first purchase. Followed by a Daytona and possibly a GT40 in that order. Imagine a Supercharger on this.......🤔

That is one bad Sting Ray! It was kind of cruel to tease us with how the engine sounds at 8000 rpms and then never rev it over 5000. I know I was like c’mon let it eat!

What a dream of a build, just amazing, brutal. I live in Germany and we have the famous Autobahn, which of 62% has no speed limit. When I go shopping, it doesn't take me long to reach the Mall at 150Mph :-) But due to strick regulations a car like this remains a dream, it will never get Tuv road legal approved :-(

Great Car, I always wanted to build my own, since I first saw one at Mongoose motorsports and before that at ERA. many, many years ago. I just love that body line.. I would go with the new 632 Chevy crate at1008hp.. Thanks again for another great video..

No it wouldn't. Sports and muscle are 2 different revs. The muscle is fast at revving. The sports is slower to rev. You don't put sports in muscle and vice versa. It wasn't a good video cause the suspension failed everytime the throttle is touched.
