I played day one namalsk for the first time yesterday. Already had the best adventure I’ve ever had in my short Dayz career of only about 300 hours. Absolutely remarkable.

Superb video! Namalsk is brand new to me, and this was a huge help getting acquainted. I thought the music was fine, by the way. And I enjoyed the little touches like the occasional emote to accentuate a point.

You can wring out the tanker helmet. This also has high insulation and some protection

Back in the day (2 years, wow /s) I played on Spaggie's Namalsk every now and then, only managing to cross the middle twice if i remember correctly, ill try again tonight with these tips in mind

This game is so crazy even for me who played for 3000hrs there is something I didnt know.

You can create a single use bandage by making a fireplace and removing the bandage, you can warm up with a gas stove, if you eat or drink something freezing several fires made close together will save you, or if you consume it with heat buff you'll live. Tara hunting stands often spawn 308 snipers. It is possible to swim to lantia summit the mountain and shoot inside

It is possible to phase through part of the dam stash an item and exit, although this is obviously less then moral. And easy to get stuck or worse.

When on the ice the wind always blows north, canned food can be cooked for faster thawing, elevation and proximity to ocean lower temperature. Moving is slightly warmer then standing still. Fires outdoors will take far longer to warm up.

Fingerless gloves are medium insulation and you can wring them out.

The only tip i didnt know abt was the water in a3 😅

You can also put a ballistik vest inside a ammo box and place it in ur plate pouches just to get abit more protection from impact =)

Just tried this map for the first time. Issue im having is im not finding any wild life to hunt. Food is very scarce.

The waterproof one? Should all be vanilla namalsk items.

The music was a bad idea. I did know them all but I have over 12,000 hours. The head torch is much better than the gas light. Otherwise good advice.

You just need a rod and hook (boats) - or craft a rod with long stick + rope, hook with knife + bones. No bait needed.
