The late 60’s through the late 70’s produced some of the beefiest looking and built trucks available, right there with Mack’s etc. Steel front ends, set-back front axles and butterfly hoods scream HD. And man, those Dayton style spoke wheels just complete the picture. My wife even said of a DM 800 Mack, they are so purpose built and brutal looking that they are pretty. Well said Mama, well said. I know Hayes and Pacific made some absolute monsters, but you didn’t see them here in the middle and eastern half of the USA. Greetings to all the truck enthusiasts out there, nothing beats sitting up high and listening to that big motor work, and that transmission whine(they used to anyway dammit) and taking it all in.

Love this truck. My dad has a ‘75 S64B. Basically the same as yours except with a steel frame. Small cam 350 Cummins just like yours but ours has a 13 speed. Just clean yours up and make it safe to drive and enjoy it! I just saw that the motor was orig a 335 but it’s been rebuilt to 350 spec. The 335’s never had the water after cooler that’s on your truck so that’s a bonus. My dads truck is cpl 160 and that’s a factory 350 hp motor.
