I enjoy KZread Haelian more than Twitch. Your overall vibe is more focused and conversational (and you still include stories). I also love how well you explain things. You got me through 32 heat on all weapons with your gameplay and advice.

On the subject of buying that propane tank, I wouldn't worry too much. People working at almost any business will generally be most used to people knowing their way around but see enough first-timers not to really judge you. 90% of the time we perceive that people are judging us way more than they are.

Speaking of Selene, did a couple Selene based runs with nearly maxing out the Wolf Howl and the laser and they both felt pretty fun. The laser had the continuous beam, triple beam, piercing, and exploding tip beam. And Wolf Howl has double activation and larger AOE. I was able to spam both of them (especially Wolf Howl) to use them nearly non stop. Completed 24 Fear barely using my weapon mid Oceanus thanks to Wolf Howl. The investment for both of them weren't too bad either with the keepsake.

I've similarly abused Dark Side in a Selene focused run. It was a staff run with hestia attack, hestia's extra fireball on omega special boon, hex cost reducers and the upgrade that makes your darkside attack have your attack boon. It wasn't particularly fast dps but it felt like the easiest win I've ever had in a hades game by being literally invincible for 90% of the run once the build was together.

I'm actually a fan of that moon boon. Getting them to stick around is pretty big, but one time I got one that gave servants the "after you take damage" effect and I had nasty comeback from Hera. When they took damage from Chronos they delt it back. Plus they were sped up. I think it was really good

propane is definitely easier but charcoal has that kiss of the dragon baby

Grilling tip: Learn how to utilize direct and indirect heat. If it doesn't have an upper shelf, leave one side of the grill either off or on low so you have somewhere to put meat you dont want to burn.

The first time I beat chronos was with the night bloom hex being the main damage in my build. I would summon a dead enemy, sprint into chronos to drag my summon in, and summon another due to the super cheap hex cost needing one or two onega attacks to charge. This resulted in a constant cycle of bombing Chronos for 1k each time due to having the explode hex summon on death.

Big fan of grilling lamb with some cumin and other spices.

There was a glitch with Night Bloom and the Judgement Arcana. If you used Night bloom to raise Jetty or Roxy, then it would activate the Judgement effect when your raised Jetty or Roxy died. Not sure if that glitch still works of if they patched it (I did report it to them)

Had Thanatos maxed Axe at 30% attack speed with the hammer 30% and Hermes 20% attack speeed. Boy was I hacking slashing everything. Was able to beat 20 heat for Chronos fairly easy

80/20 ground beef. Form into patties. I just do a little worcestershire sauce, and kosher salt. 4 minutes on each side at 400 degrees. Add your cheese of choice. Perfect burgers every time.

For someone who has never grilled before it’ll probably just be easier to get preformed patties and season those as needed

Just a heads-up Haelian, getting new Propane tanks every time is a waste of money, they never fill them up fully so you are legitimately getting ripped off in price and capacity. Instead, find a place that will do refills for the tanks you already own (it's worth having two in case one goes out mid-cooking), not only is it cheaper than getting new tanks every time, but you'll usually be able to get it fully filled as well.

Tartarus, I feel, should always have the option between express path and the reward rooms, but just make the reward rooms more difficult to make the reward worth it.

you do get more and more enemies per location in tartarus, but it would be funny if you could go on an endless run by constantly taking rewards without vow of desperation, getting ridiculously strong before finally heading to Chronos to stomp him into oblivion.

It gets reaaally crazy if you take a lot of the reward rooms, I've had some where I've taken what feels like 7 rewards and each room would have 40 elite money bags

@mrmediocre848 forgot about that part, yeah, maybe it would stop after two encounters after the mini boss, then you'd have to take the rest of the express route.

The moneybag hitting for 160 contionuosly is a really good damage support to clear out the small enemies.

At 34:59 you can clearly see that you get a multi hit with the cross omega attack.

IMO the arcana that thins out the metacurrency rewards, should have a way to be almost perma active after you've progressed enough.

I would like it if the meta currencies give you a little more, similar to Nektar p9mming a boon in Hades. I also want more arcana points, you could have all of the mirror active and only had to choose what side of the mirror power you want, that makes me feel like the arcana are weaker. Edit: I also feel the staffs are needed for a total rework (as aspects) with every staff goomg after omega moves they all become samey, especially when circes buff is the cooldown of melinoe at base. I did like the old momus for focusing on Specials and I would like all weapons to play with different aspects of the moveset, axe and torches are doing a great mix of that at the moment.

Awesome, right? Even the dialogue is accounting for that. Oceanus Boss fight might have the most variations of all in both Hades games. So many possible ways to take it, and music, gameplay, and dialogue all account for that.

Yeah, I love when they don't make special rules for bosses. If my ability lets me revive a defeated foe, I expect to revive a defeated foe!

I keep expecting your omegas to go off multiple times as if you were using momus

i dont know why but omega attack on the staff feels so jittery to aim with controller, i wonder why you dont have that problem, i tried messing with sensitivity in the settings but nothing really worked
