I love your videos, but they're so often done when it's dark/getting dark so it's so hard to see what you're doing in the cockpit, especially if I'm watching from a bright environment. I would love for you to do some streams when it's not dark 🙂
Been a while since I had though about the UPS 6 incident. It really makes you wonder why with the automation we've had for the past 20-30 years plus there isn't a guarded "autoland at nearest suitable airport" switch available for worst case scenarios. It's one extra switch and a bit of extra computer logic. Have it set the squawk to 7700 and do its thing. Hell, they could even have a list of ATC frequencies and an automatic broadcast. Surely it would be pretty inexpensive to implement, except for perhaps the testing and certification of it. It's the sort of thing that could be subsidized though, it's certainly in the public interest to avoid loss of life.
