Nice landing. Did anyone notice that flaps was still 0, speed 250 when gear was down? Is it normal?

Our pilots despite of the age of our planes never faced serious trouble in the air and during landing. I trust them, they know most of the airfields in Madagascar.

Les Trains et les Volets sont indépendants. Mais il est vrai que les volets dépendent de la vitesse, mais je me demande comment vous avez fait pour remarquer la vitesse vue la qualité de l'image. Il s'agit de Captain RANDRIANANTOANDRO, un des plus expérimentés d'Air Madagascar.

It was a 12mn flight. High speed high altitude. Gear extended below speed limitations to slow down while loosing altitude.

Could someone provide an explanation as to why they dropped the gear at flaps 0 with the speed still around 250? Never seen that done before.

+Liam Montgomery The 737's gear is actually a more effective speedbrake than the planes speedbrakes. It's often done to lose altitude and speed as quickly as possible.
