    With this speed controller which is a 50amp, it’s around 45 mph but this gearing makes it pretty easy to control on the bottom end since these motors have so much torque down low haha

    The frame alone is super cheap, cost is mostly a battery, if you do electric. Motor kit, axle, rims and tires. I’ve spent about 1000-1300

    Battery can go for ~1 hour drifting. I don't have any diagrams that I've made, there are many online you can reference. I use 36 teeth for the rear. You will need to make a custom pinion & crown.

    Merci.

    @@highvoltfab awesome build and video! I was really confused when you said your 9ah SLA batteries didn’t last as long, and the lithium was way more powerful with just a 8v increase. Was everything else the same (8awg wire too)? THANKS!!

  • @highvoltfab

    @highvoltfab

    @@SS-du7tr I guess maybe they did last as long or maybe even longer, but It took forever to charge one of them but yea the lithium was just lighter and 1 unit I have to charge vs 6 different ones 😂 also I upgraded my speed controller recently to a 84v 80amp controller and I’m still running the same 80v battery and it has sooooo much more low end torque and it’s much more responsive!

    @@highvoltfab Thank you so much for the reply! Better esc’s do make a big difference. I suppose you could have charged your SLA batts in series with a 72v ps, but either way they take a long time. The 60v greenworks batt is much closer to my budget than 80v so is a good compromise
