so i think i have an idea that could help. multiple drawer configurations. a way to make this easier is having your box more like a snap on box for example, 2 drawer slide cut outs for every 5.75 inch drawer... it woulds be easier if they were a even 6. because than 2, 3inch drawers could fit in the same place. and then if you had the availale slots on the box frame and drawers you could sell more slides. i dont know if this was already thought of but im giving my 2 cents. best of luck to you my man

I am in need of a box ATM and right now there are a few things steering me away from Styrke and into other areas and i thought it would be useful for you to know so you may be able o make some changes in the future. 1 - Obviously the price. 4200 for a bottom chest is awfully close to what you'll get off the truck for a Mac tech series or a snap on box from the trade show. Currently macs tech series is 6900 but you get 3K in free tools. So essentially your locking yourself into buying mac tools you were probably going to buy eventually anyway and paying 4K for the box. Not it is a slightly smaller box. 67" wide, and i think 41" tall with less drawers but due to it being a name brand, the box holds more trade in value then yours if i ever choose to swap it in for an upgrade. On the flip side, if you can wait till Aug for the snap on trade show each year, people have been walking away with 68" epiqs around the 5K mark and i have even seen some 84" epiqs going for 6500. Now this doesn't mean id like to see this at a $1500 price pont. IMO this box would be a no brainer at 3500 bottom chest all day long. 2 - The drawer stiffeners. While they do make a difference, I would WAYYY rather see under side stiffeners over punched stiffeners. You and snap on actually do use the same 18 gauge steel for your drawers but snap on puts a couple rails on the bottom to stiffen the drawers and it makes a HUGE difference. Roll bead stiffiners are a super cheap alternative and over time the drawer will still sag and flex a bit. 3 - The SS top. This is more of a suggestion then a con but id rather have the option of tops then a forces SS. Some people like no top o their box or prefer rock guard. Your kinda shooting yourself in the foot by having it default SS. Might help reduce the initial cost as well and get it closer to the 3500 price point. People also tend to like paying for addons rather then a more expensive initial cost. The people who want a SS top would probably even come back and pay more then initial cost to have one and still feel good about their purchase. People also like to customize shit so having different top options creates a sense of personality and drives more people to your product. Also. Got to say it. The SS weld on the corners is kinda gross lol. 4 - The logo. This is very minor but it screams cheap on a box. Keep the logo simple. A typography style logo in the corner like all the other box's do. Maybe a giant S lime mac and snap on does on their big bottom drawer. Its a rip off for sure but its their design choice for a reason. It looks way better and draws more attention to the good looking box over a meh logo. 5 - For the top hutch, the peg board should be pushed away from the back of the box. make the back double wall and have the peg board on the inner wall. The last thing you need is al then peg sticks sticking out the back of your box to look ugly as shit and have people knock em in. 6 - Financing. Need more info on how it works. The rates all that jazz so i know what im getting into. Right now just on the price point and the deal with the drawer stiffeners alone, I would way rather buy that cheap fat boy box from Uncle wieners whole sale and wait till Aug. I just cant justify paying such a close price for a box that has such a key design flaw. That's my opinion however but i hope it helps you make some key changes to drive more attention to your business.

I'm going to assume you're being genuine so I will respond...So first off, many of the cons you have mentioned have already been updated and have changed already. That's the nice thing about being a small company, it's easy to alter things. But I'll address them individually. 1. Price is very reasonable for what you get. Most customers who show up are surprised what they get for the money. I'm not taking advantage of anyone, my margins are very low as it is. Come see a box in person, they compare very well with tool truck stuff. 2. Already addressed. 3. Already addressed. Now fully welded out rather than what you see in this video. Also I offer rock guard on any surface you want. 4. You're welcome to buy a box without logo's. Everyone has their own taste. Honestly the company name and logo has some family heritage in it so it won't be changing. The style could possibly change. The Styrke logo is actually cast aluminum that is machined and polished after. So trust me, it's not "cheap" lol. Looks really cool in person. 5. Already addressed. Will be double walled. 6. If you send me a personal message, phone call, text, or contact me on facebook, I would be happy to go over the details of financing. It is third party since I'm a small business so I like to explain it fully to the individual that may want to use it. Thanks for your opinions, hope I didn't waste my time responding to a troll or a tool truck pumper. Cheers, Bob

No no not a troll comment and for sure not a truck pumper. Only own one snap on tool tbh lol. You should make an update vid showing the changes you made. Im sure people would give you more attention if you did. As for the price. Price is always going to suck. Your box does compare very well to a master series box as is and with the stiffeners and double wall it comes even closer, for sure. I won't debate that one bit. It more so is an issue with all the deals your can get via mac and snap on in comparison to yours. Mac and even matco usually have deals that supersede your pricing and sit in the sub 4K range. Id venture to say even if you ran summer time deals or student discounts to the 10% drop which i think is 3700 or something youll get a lot more traction. I know it sounds weird but being above 4K in terms of a box is sort of the thresh hold from cheap and affordable to close to snap on pricing. That is why strictly tool boxes best sellers are doing so good. All their best sellers are juuust under the 4K range. (i know its USD but the theory holds the same). I might actually come check out your stuff some time. Still havn't bought a box so if the changes have been made already then it might be worth it.

my snap on box was around 20k in a similar set up to the one in the video. 6500 is more than a fair price. mac boxes are way over priced for what you get, i don't see how you could compare the two tbh

I'm happily surprised to see a Canadian small business rolling out a box with comparable, and even surpassing, to those on a tool truck. By no means a troll, and in contrast truly hoping a box bearing the "Made in Canada" pride to be successful in the States, I have comments in line with those from @xxpr0nag3xx, on pricing strategy and on branding. The superior quality is so obvious, there is no need of further comment. 1. Pricing: With the current exchange rates, the Stryke 72" is about $3,500 USD. At this price point, it starts to be competitive as a less recognized brand name. It is about 70% of a box of similar size from the tool truck. Also it is a few hundred dollars cheaper than Harbor Freight's ICON box, which uses lower quality bearing slides. 2. Customized tool storage: I suggest to team up with manufacturers of tool box organizers to have solutions specific for the dimensions of Stryke boxes. One of the example is Olsa Tools, which is also Canadian. 3. Branding: While fully respect the family heritage tribute, I do agree with @xxpr0nag3xx that the large logos take away my attention to the details of the box. At first impression my attention was all on the logo rather than the casters and the coated aluminium handles. Until Stryke becomes a well-recognized symbol of quality, the quality needs to scream to potential customers. I'd suggest subtle, smaller logos as high quality metal emblems on a corner.
