“I don’t want to burn the tires though…WHOOPS” Haha! Redemption is a great name. Also I think bed liner is a smart idea for the top. You will get the look down and without the vinyl! Great idea!

I'm so happy that there are people like you preserving american automobile history. Curtis Mayfield's song, Diamond in the Back, describe the essence of owning a Cadillac. I also think the song states admire the Cadillac, but be thankful for what you have...

When you Dropped it. That was a quarter tank burned in a instant. The old Eldorado is taking shape. I had a 66 Coupe DeVille 2 door Maroon and Cream vinyl top. Redemption sounds great. Keep up the great work

65-66 Fleetwoods are among most elegant sedans Cadillac made post-War. 429 is 340hp and massive torque. The Fleetwood interior amenities are unreal.

O-H-I-O Porter greetings 🇺🇸 My daddy always liked those big Cadillacs…the looks, ride, feel & attitude. I grew to understand it rather quickly & began to appreciate them as well. I always loved the opportunity to bring out the 65 or 68 out of the garage to wash them or get them ready for a evening trip. He kept them garaged & usually away from other vehicles. Good memories, Dude! Nothing like the ride of a Caddy! That 66 is still rather pretty & interesting. How many miles on that beauty? And I bet it’s located in PA, too? Sharp old car! Your Eldorado is better looking without that raggedy old top. You can see what you’re dealing with now. Did you find the vacuum leak? Still sounds pretty good. I can understand the leaning behind the wheel & your hand drooped over, never got into the leaning bit. I still like the way they turn…2 fingers & just be comfortable. Ahhh…that’s it! You can understand that one! Blessings my friend! 🥰😎✌️

That’s awesome you were able to grow up exposed to those two Caddies and all that goes with it. I love the “two finger” turning for sure. It’s amazing that high miles and the neglect this Eldo was given over to it still rides so smooth and is so quiet inside. Amazing! No rattles or clunks. It’s all downhill from here. Got it all tuned up with fresh oil plugs wires points and new carb. Yes still has a vacuum leak somewhere but we’ll find it. You should see the roof now in the next video. Interior is all freshened up with black vinyl and carpet dye and on and on it goes. That’s what “Redemption” does 😊👍

Hello Dane, I'm certain if it snows you will love the Eldorado with front wheel drive. IF you were to drive it in snow. I doubt you would, and I wouldn't either. One thing I always liked about Cadillac's, they have very good heaters. Today almost every car has a great heater.

How bout the length of those rear quarter panels of that fleetwood! watching this channel takes me back to when I was 10 yrs old in 1970. My Dad bought this sweet 66 Sedan Deville for the family car. What an upgrade. Not just the electric seats and windows, telescopic and adjustable steering wheel, it also had auto bright/dimming headlights and variable speed wipers. I felt like we were the rich family in town, but really just stuck in the middle lol
