Красота не только в бонсаях, но и в освещении, в работе художника над изображением птиц и зверей. Светильники- всё красиво.

Absolutely beautiful! My mother, who is 90 y/o spoke of her brother, who was a few years older, he said when he was in the army he was stationed in Japan and he absolutely loved it there and told her it was the most beautiful country and he had the best time of his life when he was there.

Thank you for watching and sharing that story. There are several people who watch that were stationed here at one time and it brings back memories of their time here.

It was incredible. That collaboration with the paper cutting artist Teppei Hayakawa was perfect.

Biwako! Shiga’s an interesting place. Lots of hidden gems if one has a car. Still plenty to see off the rail.

Yes it’s not on the top of everyone’s list but another reason why I love it.

@@DaveinOsaka So true. Doesn’t see many tourists. Left behind a camera in a station box at Hikone. Returned the next day and it was still there!

So are all of those trees fruit baring?

I think there are several factors that determine if I tree fruits. I know that age is a factor and whether the plant is dormant or not. There is no simple answer but I believe they do being to fruit when they are 6 years old.
