@@lionheartroar3104 problem with CD's is it's compressed to MP-3 format it takes away from each instrument you should compare the same song with one played on a CD and then compare to a vinyl lp. One, you'll need a good sound system to compare, If a person is tone deaf they won't notice the difference. Just from my experience. I was playing on a record player ever since I could afford my first record album, I still have them all and enjoy it as much today as yesterday

@@johannesversendaal4554 CD's are not compressed to mp3. CD's are PCM. CD's actually have a much wider dynamic range than Vinyl. The CD *medium* is vastly superior to the vinyl medium for recording music in nearly every aspect. That being said vinyl has a sound that people like which is fine. It all comes down to how a song is recorded. I prefer earlier CD's before the craziness of the loudness wars which destroyed dynamic range in music and thus made the wide dynamic range capability of CD's moot.

So many great tracks to select from, throughout those years. It was never a problem, to fill a 5 hour gig, with some of the best tunes, ever written, by exceptionally gifted writers and musicians. Only... we didn't call them "gigs", back then! Fills me with joy, to see the young, such as yourself, embrace, and move to the music of OUR time, music that moulded us, into the people, we are today. The only exception is "Goodbye Stranger" by Supertramp. I have a few songs by Supertramp, just not this particular song. I have about 10.5K songs in my music library and I go through A LOT of playlists on youtube searching for songs I might have missed, because there are thousands of good songs out there and I'm sure I might have missed a few. You are right and nothing compares to quadraphonics either. In 70, too young to be out acting crazy and listening to John Stewart with Stevie Nicks: GOLD and the rest of the album was magic too.

Girl, you are doing a service, believe it or not. I love how you dance and seem to enjoy all the eras of music. So many of us truly thank you...

Back in 1986 i was seeing this girl 3 years older than me, we where in her car and steely dan was playing this same song, i didnt know who they where eventho i listen to rock, she was singing happily and i asked her who are they , she said steely dan, eversince then ive been hooked...what a great band.
The 70s were my teen years, I can remember what I was doing when I first heard the songs on the radio.
Now, almost at 70 years of age, I had the privilege to be a 70's and 80's DJ, back in my 20's, and 30's, I reflect back on that era, as being a total mindblast. Keep up the good work !! Subscribed.... but definately not, in a creepy sort of way !!

Major KUDOS to whoever put these playlists together. As I said in (Part 1) I remember these songs when they first came out and I listened to them then and I STILL listen to them today.
