For sure! TV ads used to be fun, tuneful, goofy, or at least kind of interesting. Now, they are excruciatingly tedious, uncreative, and woke, like the actual shows. I never watch TV anymore because of this.
In the '80's almost every woman I dated told me I lived my life like a beer commercial. They meant it as an insult, I took it as a compliment.

Me too!! Michelob beer at 16!! If it wasn't for Phil Collins "In the Air Tonight" over the "The night belongs to Michelob" commercial, I would still have my original, God given liver!!!! Had a wild life, made some incredibly wild and crazy memories and made and had more than a few beautiful and gorgeous ladies.... Be that as it may, in retrospect, I wish I had never drank my first 🍺 beer, the price tag was way too high when it came time to pay the bill.... Now, I follow God's word and follow Jesus, and it's so much more of a wonderful life than I could ever have imagined. Think twice about that booze before you take that painful, depressing and DANGEROUS road to the Valley of Death....

A guy and his bear and hamms beer, in a jeep what a combo.
I realized why I love these so. It shows people together and happy. It's within all of our reach, with or without alcohol, no difference.
Those Hamms commercials were very clever and guaranteed to give the viewer a chuckle. PBR was certainly cashing in on the nostalgia for the past during the 1970's/1980's. What I like about these commercials is that in most of them people are doing things with their friends such as camping, fishing, going on a picnic

@@bobsmith-ru7xp Unfortunately....most older Americans got used to watered down macro brews that were sold in this country for many decades, made mostly with cheap corn, rice and barley....and very little, if any hops. That Arndeker beer advert, is a really clever advert. You may not have gone back to 3:45 and watched it again, but you will. Saying how expensive a product is, and then saying 'but it's worth it..' is a successful formula. You may not agree with me right now, but you will. Stella Artois did that also in the 80s, with a 'reassuringly expensive' tagline.
