In this video it is Sheffield Wednesday vs Blackburn Rovers away at Ewood Park in an absolute relegation battle 6-pointer in the 2023/24 EFL Championship season!
Blackburn Rovers went into this game off the back of an amazing 1-0 away win to promotion pushing Leeds United but have struggled with form before that, Wednesday went into this game off the back of a disappointing 1-1 draw at home to relegation rivals Stoke City, and the last time Sheffield Wednesday vs Blackburn Rovers, Wednesday won 3-1 against Blackburn at home, but now its time for the away game!
Wednesday started this game very well and breaking the deadlock within 6 minutes through Josh Windass, an absolutely incredible strike from about 30 yards flying over the keeper's head and into the back of the net to put Wednesday ahead 1-0 - Sheffield Wednesday 1-0 Blackburn Rovers!
However, this was short lived as Wednesday quickly conceded just 3 minutes later by Blackburn's main man Sammie Szmodics to level up the game at 1-1 - Sheffield Wednesday 1-1 Blackburn Rovers!
The game slowly fizzled out as the first half went on and both teams went into the half time break with a goal apiece, the half time score being - HT Sheffield Wednesday 1-1 Blackburn Rovers!
Wednesday came out the second half better than and the first and a quick counter attack led to Anthony Musaba's cross finding the feet of Marvin Johnson who slammed it in from close range to put Wednesday back in the lead at Ewood Park, now 2-1 - Sheffield Wednesday 2-1 Blackburn Rovers!
Then, in incredible fashion, Blackburn Rovers' Keeper - Pears, somehow sliced the ball over his own head following a back pass and it rolled into the Blackburn net to now make a 2 goal cushion between Wednesday and Blackburn making it 3-1 - Sheffield Wednesday 3-1 Blackburn Rovers!
And despite Blackburn's attempts to get back into the game and get a goal, it was not to be and Danny Rohl's Owls defended very well to hold out for a massive 3-1 away win against relegation rivals Blackburn Rovers! the full time score being FT - Sheffield Wednesday 3-1 Blackburn Rovers!
Wednesday are also now out of the Championship relegation zone and so we move onto next week where we face West Brom at home for a very tough match, can Wednesday stay up..?

Rotherham fan, great vlog Ben! Massive win for you guys to take Wednesday out of the drop zone! I've been saying for a while that Wednesday still have a great chance on staying up, and I think you certainly have a great chance now. Really tough game against West Brom next for you guys but they have secured playoffs now they don't really have anything to play for so anything could happen. And if Wednesday do stay up, I'd say its more than deserved!

@@vincentryals2478 Not at all mate 😭. I just feel as though it is a massive backwards step and not what we need. I know he did well with Stevenage and with us 10 year ago, but other than that, he's failed at Mansfield, Peterborough, Leeds and Gillingham. Completely pointless sacking Richardson and his staff which set us back £3.5 million, and to get Evans in as well as his coaching staff was another £1.5 million and that is probably most of our summer transfer budget gone. 🙄
This is a MASSIVE win, omg, I told you lad, your staying up, what a result! C'mon the Wednesday, cracking content as always as well, what a result! It's gone from can we play you every week to being a team no one wants to face atm, c'mon the owls, get in there.
