Since this list started by ranking higher super mario all stars and super mario word than the cartridge that combines both, one can only wonder what was going on... Now the Smurfs or Zool (I mean... Zool!) ranked higher than Megaman X2 & 3, Skyblazer or Sparkster... That's not something I see very often. Or Mr. Nutz (#150!) , if you want something it can really be compared to. Breath of Fire 2 and Lufia 2 higher than FFVI... sure! Poor poor FFV ending at #157... Young Merlin above Soulblazer (# 174), hell... why not! More logic : #210 Mega Man 7 #221 Aladdin #237 Goof Troop (someone doesn't like Capcom!) #238 Another / Out of this World #293 Alcahest #328 The Addams Family #376 Rudra's Treasure #380 Dragon Quest III ('cause why not!) #383 Act - effing - traiser ('cause all these soccer, wrestling, golf and infogramme games still have so much replay value!) #395 Front Mission #396 Bahamut Lagoon (someone doesn't like tactical games... except Tactics Ogre is ranked super high... Have you actually tried those with their translation patch ?) #452 Live a Live #465 The Peace Keepers / Rushing Beat 3 #581 Dragon Quest VI / #586 Shin Megami Tensei... Cause Mystic Quest and Lagoon (both ranked higher, of course) have that innimitable flavour, you know... Still M.I.A : Tetris Battle Gaiden (cause fun is overrated) Astro Go Go (cause if you think F-Zero doesn't deserve to be ranked higher, why bother...) I love how Prince of Persia 2 was running way too fast And... #666 Batman Forever... A match made in... Hell! At least, I think we all mostly agree with the bottom of your list.

@@herved.2063 I mean the list has Batman Returns at #45, there is no way that game (same genre) is 72 slots higher than TMNT Turtles in Time. Also, Actraiser is a top 10 game on the console for me...crazy ranking!

Top 10 should look something like: 1- Zelda LttP 2- Final Fantasy 6 3- Chrono Trigger 4- Super Metroid 5- DKC 2 6- Super Mario World 7- MegaMan X 2 8- Star Fox 9- Super Mario RPG 10- Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island HMs: Earthbound, Mario Kart, Street Fighter 2, DKC It's actually insane how many good games there are on this console.. Turtles in Time, MK2, F-Zero, Secret of Mana, Contra, Kirby, Harvest Moon, the list goes on.

Wtf this list is atrocious. Where is Final Fantasy 6 (3 in US)? That should be at least top 10. And Zelda deserves to be top three if not number one. Edit: FF6 at 89? You are really out of your league kid. Try again.

It's so hard to rank this games in the 90's this games was impressive as the PS games are right now were the best quality on the market like its the xbox and PS right now to be real i have grown with this games and i had a lot of joy playing them now they look stupid and easy to play i have a lot of good memories connected to this games this games were bringing youth together unlike now in my opinion i have played like 100 of this games the most famous at the time. Love how you know nothing about the console yet want to teach us something. Is he your bf or something? The list is objectively all over the place, that's why everybody complains. Not because "we're spiteful people who'd rather take down the work of others than do it ourselves", as you want to villify us. You have no idea where our criticism comes from.

Having a collection of remakes from the previous generation as your No. 1 game is certainly a choice

Ah my favorite game super Aladdin on snes.

I can appreciate that "best of" lists are going to have a lot of debatable placements... but I do have a question... how does Super Mario Allstars come in at 1, the super Mario world in at 5.. but then the super Mario Allstars + super Mario world come in at 10? You take the #1 game, add the #5 game to it and it actually falls down the list to #10???

I love Final Fantasy IV, but as far as JRPGs on the SNES go is it *really* better than Final Fantasy VI *OR* *CHRONO* *TRIGGER* ?

It's better to watch this video with the mindset that it is a collection of the best games, rather than a ranking of the best and worst.

SNES has so many games it's kinda hard to make a subjective list lol Like my Number one is Super Metroid because it's game design is still used in the best games today. But my number 2 is super Tecmo Bowl 3 because of the insane amount of content and arcade like action. Real NFL teams and drafts it's awesome. But like 5 people would put it on their number 2

Is this based off of units sold, or just someone's opinion

Teenage mutant ninja Turtles fighter Tournament on snes my favorite character is Leonardo.

I also like super adventure island on snes.

I love watching people's personal ranking of SNES games, but man am I SICK of seeing gameplay footage from the first few seconds of each game.

Although I have to disagree with #1 as they botched the controls on the first game

And last but not least super Aladdin on snes and it is so hard to find all the red germ.

Top 3 for me (and you can go any order) is Link to Past, Super Metroid, and Super Mario World. The rest of top 10 includes Donkey Kong Country, Actraiser, Chrono Trigger, Turtles in Time, Contra III: Alien Wars, Super Castlevania IV, and Ken Griffey Jr. Presents MLB (nostalgia pick). Honorable mentions to Secret of Mana, F-Zero, Megaman X, Illusions of Gaia, Tecmo Super Bowl 1&3, NHL 94', Boxing Legends of the Ring, Final Fight, Super Punch-Out, Zombies Ate My Neighbors, and Sunset Riders.

And legend of Zelda link to the past on snes That kinda hard to.

I also play Combatribes on snes and I play that on easy mode.

Beavis & Butthead at #599? I loved that game. I think it's 400 places too low. Must not be a fan of GWAR....... Beauty & The Beast is also about 500 places too low.

And super adventure island on snes that one is hard to.

Radical Rex at 77 while Killer Instinct is at 82 and Final Fantasy III (a top 10 game, easily) is at 89? What a joke list!

I know. Mega Man 7 at #210 (I heard a RUMOR it's one of the worst MM games, but still), the first appearance of a Final Fight game is #173, and there are way too many soccer games in the top 200, and I think I saw just 2 baseball games in that span. Actraiser at 383? Plus a 4 games in 1 cartridge at #1 that should've been quite a bit lower.

Glad to see that FF6 beat out Cool Spot, but it's unfortunate that it wasn't as good as Blackthorn. Proper trolling would have had it in the last 5 minutes of the video.

Awesome playing a lot of these in 2024 then it will be time to beat Kakarot and ff rebirth playing snes games more lately lol

Killer instinct should have been in the top 50. It's one of the best fighting games of all time.

This comment section is what's wrong with retro gaming on KZread, it's the reason we get the same video made 10,000 times because the second someone makes a list that doesn't have the obligatory same 20 games at the top people freak out. This is all subjective, it's personal, it's opinion. It's refreshing seeing a different opinion, stick to mainstream, large, corporate sponsored channels that give you the same games and lists over and over, you'll be much happier.

700 games is hardly an opinion, I doubt he played the 700 of them. He should have named the video accordingly: "My 30 nostagia childhood picks for SNES" or something. But that's not much of a clickbait, ain't it? He clickbaits, we roast, that's the rule. Otherwise the internet will be even more flooded with these crappy careless lists of misinformation.

So many games ranked very low for no reason and some pretty high that were worthless. Actraiser, Knights of the Round, Legend, etc. should have been in the Top 20, at least for the first two and yet Actraiser was 383 I believe in your list.

Doom for SNES was not that bad. I played it multiple times and beat it. Also Wolfenstein should have been higher too. They are both really good games

Wow, with so many fantastic games it must've been tough to decide where to place each game. Although I have to admit I think Final Fantasy VI is way too low. 😕

Nice to see arkanoid pretty high up. No.1 game should always be street fighter 2 turbo. Less batty man mario games and more alladin and super ghouls and ghosts.

No Final Fight games in the top 100 is wrong, even the top 150 there's none. #173 for the first FF game is too low. Also, TMNT IV needs to be top 50 at least. Actraiser at #383 is just stupid. WAY TOO MANY soccer games in the top 100. Make that top 200. And I think I saw just 2 or 3 baseball games. Ridiculous. But I love all the clips anyway, no matter where they rank, and the music for most of the games

There are clearly garbage games on the SNES, would I bother listing them? No, because at some point you're picking the s#;+ from the s#;+. But, by the same token, there are some games that are so iconic that listing them is literally a matter of personal taste. But, we all give it a shot. Opinion: EA sports games get 1 slot per sport. If I did a top 10 I would likely try to represent not only iconic games but games from other genres I enjoy. Like: 1. Super Mario All Stars/World 2. ActRaiser 3. Chrono Trigger 4. Legend of Zelda ALttP 5. Final Fantasy III 6. Super Street Fighter II 7. Axelay 8. NBA Jam TE 9. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles TiT 10. Shadowrun

Actually 4 games (Mario 1-3, and the Lost Levels). The Mario All-Stars + Mario World game (which also was ranked too high), has 5-in-one!

No one played RPGs back in the day they were trash and still are your best to worst is automatically off when you put crap puzzle and RPG in top positions because there's no way unless you're a kid from the 2000s you absolutely did not play those and if you say you did you're fibbing big time

Dude... Mario, Zelda, Metroid, Disney, TMNT, Castlevania, Mortal Kombat, Street Fighters, FF 4 & 6, many well known RPG's (specially JRPG's)... the first 50 games must be exclusively from these franchises and other well known games that always show up on every top 10 tier list on the internet. To put Prehistorik Man, a decent game by all means but a #100-ish one nonetheless, in #12 spot is criminally insane. No one will take this joke of a list seriously after seeing that. NBA games on #18? Really? You wasted your time, and most importantly, ours. Congratulations, troll.

Also, three Street Fighter II games in such proximity, in the teens of the list? Pick one! I bet the difference is 3 more characters and an extra scenario. They are DLC's of each other!

I’m sorry but All Stars is No 1 but All Stars WITH World is 11? What sense does that make?
