It seems to be the perfect 69 Camaro, 10 year old build and did I hear correctly that the owner drives from New Jersey to Florida with this car? That is a reliable driver’s car, being that confident to take it on a 1000 mile trip each way! That’s the way to instill confidence for the owner knowing he or she is not gonna break down. You can see how Kyle is so passionate about how he builds cars for his customers, making sure everything has been shaken down and trouble shot that it what every gear head wants to feel when his cars being built. DETROIT Speed has the right formula for building restomod / proTouring cars thank you Shawn for bringing great cars yet again!

Recently bought a 69 with an LSA. Having tune , pulleys , intake and bit of extra work done for now. I’ve been dreaming of owning a car like this with my dad who’s sadly passed since I was a little kid. If not for him I’d never be able to own one. Sean from Autotopia never fails to put a smile on my face. So many amazing stories , people with incredible talent, heartwarming stories and the cars he gets to drive .... Damn!!! Several dreams come true lol. Been following Detroit speed for some time now as well.... Outstanding work. Hoping my car finds its way up there for some extra work in the coming months.

Love this. Modern without losing the old school original soul, look and feel.

I think this is hands down the nicest first gen Camaro I've seen. Not overdone, beautiful interior, and power!!! Not to mention, bad ass exhaust note at idle. And everywhere else for that matter. Thanks again Shawn for making my day a bit brighter. 👍🤘

This Is a Special Car, She's look like a "classic"69 Camaro But Under the Hood is a Really Beast. I love It

Detroit Speed nailed it with this work of art. This should be the benchmark for all 69 Camaro pro touring builds.

...met Kyle and Stacy Tucker at the Power Tour in San Berdo back many years ago. They were super nice people and just starting their company. I had a 69 Camaro SS/RS at the time, and it was a build in progress that was influenced by Mark Stielows pro touring builds. I remember we talked about rear tire size figment, and I believe they had a yellow and black 69 Camaro? Watched their company grow and make an impact and become the “go to” company for pro touring...awesome people who deserve their success.

What I like is that every part is specially built for a purpose the interior is not overly done and the engine is simple.

We didn’t do the upgrades...that’s all built by DSE and it’s a badass

Absolute perfection. It couldn't be any better looking and it's got the perfect motor, transmission and interior.

My Dads was a 454 with a Doug Nash 5 and a 12 bolt and he sold it to someone else. Learned the hard way to love these cars!

What a badass 69, man that is one of the nicest Camaro's I have ever seen. Plus the two young men playing on that nice North Carolina road look like two kids that just got the keys to dad's hot rod. That made me fill good just watching, and the sound is just awesome.

Maple motors has them ready to go. You can finance them. Their located in Tennessee, & they have some nice classic 60's & 70's muscle. Everything is restored & ready.

Looks like a grip and rip setup! Hell yeah!

Great looking car that will always look like it was just built last week. I need to get by their place. I didn’t even realize they are right there off Mazeppa rd in Mooresville. I drove right by there all the time to and from, and for work. There are so many amazing shops in and around Mooresville.

I guess its a personal preference...It is a nice car..but the RS grill is a more rare option! I like the painted "Endura style" front bumper which tends to make the car look more contemporary vs the chrome bumpers..I would call it more unique if it didnt have the ZL2 cowl hood...more '69's have that hood now then left the factory. LOL

Great fit and finish. I would of liked to see a different style steering wheel on the inside though. Maybe something with wood burn black finish. That particular one just looks to similar to all the tuner vehicle out there now a days. Sounds menacing 👍🏻💪🏻
