Great video Curtis, seriously, it’s like watching myself just with better quality shots. You are literally shooting the same shots I do in Manchester and walking the same routes as I do. Same as most Manchester Street Photographers do but we all put our own spin on it, think I’ll see my 50-230 out with me next time, not something I usually take out with me for Street I must say.

I love the line @ 1759 when you are showing the lady with the umbrella and you remark "I love this one because it is a lady with an umbrella, which is always a win(d)". Nice pun even if not intentional. LOL.

Hello, you are doing great works. I wonder something. How to mount your gopro when shooting with the camera with two hands?

I also have the 70-200 GM2 and it is my favourite lens. I am mostly a wildlife and travel photographer, but your video makes me want to have a go using this lens for POV street photography. Some of those shot you took were so cool!

Thans for the video! Seems you'll burn through the 200K mechanical shutter activations of the A7iv quickly! :)

Cool POV. Lens love not “weird” just “special”😁. Pref. lens would be something more like a wide aperture pancake lens. This POV sortta ended too soon at twilight. Suggest future vid, same lens and venue, at night - trams even better at night. Or try lens outside your comfort zone - nature. Cheers!

do you prefer for street photography 70-200 better or 24 - 70

I have an A7IV as well. Your enthusiasm inspired me to go out shooting with my Tamron 70-180mm wide open at f/2.8 today. Not quite 200mm, but very different from my go-to 35mm GMaster lens. I feel the A7IV autofocus is really robust at longer focal lengths, which you were also commenting on in the video. At 35mm, it's really good once it recognizes a face or eye, but if I quickly lift the camera and shoot, it may not recognize these. Anyway, thanks for the video.

What made you choose the Sony over the Tamron 70-180? I’m trying to justify buying the Sony but image quality they are pretty similar, or at least good enough for me for a ‘’70-200’’ at £700, YOU can’t beat the tamron for it’s price.

Nice photos ,but you have to replace your shutter very soon. As I know shutter of Sony A74 has a short life unfortunately.I have same camera but I avoid to use very often high nu speed shutter.

I've owned the Sony A7iv for way over a year now, easily taken way over 50k photos with it. I'm not bothered if shutter breaks or fails, cause its a camera. It's meant to take photos. It's like a car, you wouldn't worry about putting mileage on the clock just because engine may fail and needs replacing. It's meant to be driven so your gonna drive it. But, this is why I recommend people getting insurance on their camera, if my camera breaks down mechanically all I have to pay is £50 access fee and I'll get it fixed or replaced. My camera is a tool and I'm gonna use it to it's fullest.

Really nice video and edits. I’m looking at the 70-200mm GM II as well since I only have 24-70mm atm. But I’m on A7III right now. Do you think A7IV is worth the upgrade for street and landscapes? Some portraits as well.

Not worth the upgrade for now. But if you have money why not? Your A7III is still good until A7V pops out. Save your money for next lens....es. :)

Sigma 85 and Sony 70-200 are definitely the sharpest lenses in my arsenal, they are so goooood! 🔥
