No, because these people would be shooting you in the back at the beginning of the match, so you're down 50% before even seeing an enemy. I remember this happening a lot when team damage was still a thing.

Here is an idea from me a indie dev: If a player turns blue then they are perma spotted to all tanks including the enemy & receive the stun effect while also being a x2 XP & Credits for doing damage to the blue target so that everyone would gang up to kill them as fast as possible from both teams..
