I have to disagree with you on one thing in the vid, and that’s the Focus Rifle I and many others loved this weapon. It was the last and closest thing to a Sentinel Beam we ever got after H3. Bungie managed to give it a scope all while it being just as effective up close. I don’t think it should’ve replaced the Beam Rifle as a Alien sniper in Reach, we could’ve had both. I was high top 100 somewhere in Focus Rifle kills according Halo Tracker (back when that was still really a thing), people complained but it’s very effective in death dealing and deterring. You keep your accuracy and manage bursts at times on the person and it becomes very annoying to be shot at with. Maybe I’ll get this weapon again in the form of a Sentiel Beam Variant

Nah, there's no articles of engagement in a war for the species. It's a numbers game, kill anything you can however you can. It feels cool but it is really difficult to balance, for example, with some of the halo 2 and 3 weapons, they kinda force you to dual wield to be useable. the H2 needler and magnum are the worst offenders in that imo. Dual wield needlers feel okay, but picking up a single needler is almost like picking up half a needler, if that makes sense. H3 did a better but sometimes it still felt like I was picking up half a weapon.

The needle weapons are my favorite weapon aesthetic in all of halo. I love the wizzing and bouncing needles. I love how you can watch your ammo deplete with something more interesting than a screen with a number on it. The needle rifle took the classic needler and mixed it with the carbine to make a weapon who's only shortcomings were reticle bloom and the fact that, 90% of the time, you killed an enemy before you could blow them up.

Imagine finding some long gone marines tucked away in some cave and taking there OG weapons! Even if they’re super op and you can only find them in one spot I’d absolutely love them.

What if the katana is still a cosmetic but it replaces the melee animation, instead of hitting them with the gun or your fists, you swipe at them. (Still does the same damage as the normal melee)

The Needle Rifle is my absolute favorite weapon in Reach. It’s so damn good!!

I’d say the classic magnum and shotgun, the Plasma Launcher, the Concussion Rifle for the Elites, Needle Rifle alongside the Skirmishers, classic Plasma Rifle and Repeater.

The needle rifle should function like a battle rifle with full auto, firing repeated bursts of 2-4 needles, as well as having the supercombine. The plasma rifle would be like CE's, while the plasma repeater is faster and has longer range while dealing more damage to health but less to shields maybe? (It's hard to balance the repeater with the pulse carbine, since the pulse carbine is like how the repeater should've been.) The concussion rifle isn't entirely necessary, but it could be an elite version of the brute shot that's maybe more powerful but slower, and the plasma launcher would be an interesting addition. The old CE M6D magnum and M90 shotgun need to come back exactly as they were in CE but with new models and animations to match the new art style while retaining the original feel: the big magazine in the handle of the magnum that's so long it's part of the handle, the brownish color of the handle, the yellow lights on the iron sights, etc. on the magnum, and the shotgun should look like 3's, which is probably my favorite shotgun model, with the long silver barrel thing and the rail going down the middle, and the bright light blue lights on the iron sights and at then end of the rail thing.

TheWither129 I agree with much of what you said. However I think the Needle Rifle should simply do more damage. So instead of like 4-5 shots to destroy a shield it should be 3 shots for a shield and 3 shots to kill. Also decrease the bloom and your good to go. Also imo I’ve always liked the Concussion Rifle as a more fancy Elite version of the Brute Shot. I would simply increase the rpm of the Concussion Rifle and against an unshielded enemy it would be a 1 hit direct kill unless it was against a Brute, Elite or Hunter. Also I liked Reach and CEAs shotguns more since they look more militaristic and mean than the Halo 3 Shotgun that looks more elegant and less mean and militaristic looking

Why would you want the concussion rifle? It's zero fun to get shot at by that.

Actually the spiker rifle should show the liquid ferrofluid that shapes the spikes before they are superheated and launched to form their spiked appearance after they are fired. That container that you shove in the bottom of the spiker actually contains fluid that can be shaped by magnetic fields, and hardens when superheated. That’s why the end of the weapon and the spikes themselves glow red just after they have been shot.

here's a weapon idea i came up with not too ago which seems pretty simmilar to your concept. a ferrofluid-based variable function directed energy rifle which deals varying amounts of damage depending on the zoom magnification. with the standard unzoomed fire it functions as a semiauto combat rifle, in 3× magnification it would function as an antipersonel sniper rifle and in 6× magnification it functions as an antimateriel rifle. the more zoomed in it is, the more ammo it consumes per shot, as it uses more ferrofluid to cast a larger projectile.

Bungie had already started to phase out the plasma rifle in reach with the plasma repeater, you rarely ever saw the plasma rifle in reach. 343 just continued what bungie started. That Pulse rifle in Infinite looks like a carbine if anything not a human rifle.

I thought the sentinels were awesome in Halo Wars 2. I liked how there were variations of them that had different functions but were also Badass! They could swarm enemies and just mow down fields of flood as a giant wave. I also love how overwhelmingly powerful the flood and sentinels were in HW2. It made you actually scared of getting overrun by infection forms like you originally did in Halo CE.

The idea is that every single Halo weapon in existence returns in Halo Infinite. Even all the Halo 5 weapons.

That indicates nothing. Mega has to use multiple molds. That way if people buy multiple sets they're not buying the same weapons multiple times. It's not cost effective to make new molds for ever weapon. So they make some new molds, for weapons that absolutely need it. Substitute others that don't. And just use molds that aren't in the game. To keep up the variety.

@@theAverageJoe25 This may be a boatload of wishful thinking, but I'd be genuinely delighted if we had literally all of the in game existing halo weapons available to use in Halo Infinite. As in each variation of them to choose from as well. I wouldn't be surprised if someone did it as a mod, but if it was originally in the game like that I'd personally love it.

I am really surprised you didn't even mention the SMG. I've missed that! Also dual wielding. And I personally really liked the needle rifle, so I'd like to see it return along with its smaller cousin.

I'm gonna miss the iconic logo from HiddenXperia. :'(

I personally really love how the needle rifle functioned in the sandbox, it's actually one of my favourite guns to use in campaign. It's basically an ideal gun against unshielded targets. It has more shots per magazine than the DMR, so whilst each shot is weaker, you can get more individual headshots, and therefore kills, against enemies like grunts and jackals. Its supercombine effect means than, so long as your target is unshielded, you can easily shred them. This is especially useful against brutes from Reach, who are absolute damage sponges, but who will still be put down after one or two supercombines (only six body shots!). It even works reasonably well against Hunters. The fact that it is bad against shields and vehicles just makes it interesting, giving other weapons a place to shine in the sandbox. Even for multiplayer, its TU accuracy is amazing, so at long range I find it can actually outperform against other players using DMRs because it has effectively zero bloom in TU.

I actually really liked the Grenade launcher, but the critical flaw (in my opinion) that keeps me from using it is it’s VERY low ammo total and it’s infrequency in the campaign and MP

Maybe talk about covenant vehicles that the banished could use like revenants?

But most, MOST IMPORTANT: have the human weapons be Bullpup. It's one of the fundimentals of human weapons, just like "guns with nummers" 343 bitte, please and alstublieft

Well, the sniper rifle, smg and shotgun haven't been bullpup in any of the games, so that's an exception (trying to remember if there were any others) Edit: I tried to find anything that specifically states whether the smg is bullpup, but came up with nothing.

@@DeepPlane that's true, most explosieve weapons are not. (I think there isn't a explosive weapon that's bullpup) I was being hyperbolic, that way the comment is easier to read at a glance

@@lilbroccole the weapons the Halo ones are based on don't look that bad. (Famas = battle rifle, can't say for sure that the F2000 is what the Assault Rifle is based on since it was revealed in March of 2001, but because Halo CE was launched in November of the same year, it seems possible. can't remember what DMR is based on though) Edit: based on is probably too strong a word, resemble would work better, but the Famas was released somewhere around the 70s so it makes more than enough sense as of it's introduction in Halo 2.

@@DeepPlane a good DMR lookalike is the DesertTech MDR, with another scope then the standerd one. It's a now one, first unveiled in 2014. I'm not an expert at firearms (I've seen some upclose, but never shot one) The MDR has some really nifty selutions for the usual bullpup tradeoff

Y'know, I respect you, HiddenX. I understand that these weapons are important to you, and you want to see them, but personally I won't have much of a problem if new weapons are introduced in Infinite instead of the old ones. I mean sure, it's good to have nostalgia and bring in a few classics to give old returning players a case of the feels, but for me, there is no difference. A weapon is a weapon. Whether it's the grenade launcher, the Covenant Carbine, the flamethrower or something else entirely...as long as it adds to my gameplay experience, I don't care.

In a way, I completely agree, but I would still love to see 343's take on banished versions of done of Bungie's older original guns

343 really needs to see this i would love to see what the game devs think about the community opinions for expanding how many weapons are put into infinite, an expanded armory on all sides would definitely be quite interesting in multiplayer and campaign alike

@@bigjack986 Ya i know im kind of like begging but it would be awesome to be able to spawn in a sabre, sereph, phantom, elephant, golden Civilian warthog, chopper, forklift, semitruck, falcon, specter, revenant, pelican, MAC gun from reach campaign, hornet, flamethrower, and a scarab gun all in the same game. They dont have to focus on it now but as an update after release would be nice :)

I love your video, you teached me some cool stuff I didnt know about, like the grenade launcher's EMP functionality, but I feel that you misunderstood the power of the needle launcher. See, what makes the needle launcher so special is not the fact that the shots can super combine but rather the fact that every shot does almost as much damage as a DMR, but with the addition of having a faster rate of fire. In its current fashion I still prefer the needle launcher over halo reach's DMR for this same reason and I believe the reason why you underated it is because your playstyle is much more accurate and less explosive, basicly with each shot you try to reach the targets vital points to make it count so you take time to aim and attack when, given the amount of ammo in a single reload of the needle launcher, you can unleash plenty of consecutive shots on a single target.

The sentinal beam's design was so wacky that I honestly had difficulty telling the difference between sentinal beams and random garbage on the ground

I want them to have a game with all weapons from all the games but with variants like have all the in game ars with the ma37, ma5b, ma5c and ma5d and variants of all the other weapons like the magnum br and dmr and all the others I think that would be cool

Infinite needs to have the deepest and largest weapon sandbox ever seen in a Halo game.

343 seems adamant on replacing things like the classic shotgun and others, which is not needed at all, I appreciate their willingness to make changes, I just don’t want too many weapons because of the overlap you spoke of... I just hope they know what they’re doing this time...

I'd love to see the Needle Rifle return. I really loved those supercombines it cold give you. A Banished take on it though would be sweet to see though.

The Needler rifle is one of my favorites in Halo. It’s so satisfying.

The MCC plasma rifle also slows down the target, idk what you mean when you say missing it's still there.

Bring back the Spectre Covenant vehicle. That thing was sweet. I loved how you could push down on the joystick andbring the front end up

I absolutely loved the Needle Rifle. Shame it wasn't in Halo 4, where it would been quite fun since the needles can stick and supercombine in hunters and are very good against shields in that game. Probably my favorite Reach weapon. The changes you proposed to it though make it mauch cooler than it was in Reach. Also, seeing the Plasma Rifle would make my day, seeing as it's my second favorite covenant weapon behind the Needler. Love the Plasma Rifle's design and how alien it looks.

honestly, i kinda just want more melee weapons. like normally in the campaigns you have the energy sword and the gravity hammer. but i want a melee weapon that isn't like some kinda power weapon, i just wanna use like a knife or maybe a spear, hell i'll even settle for the ability to use my fists as more "rapid fire" alternative to gunbutts. also the fire grenades. those were pretty cool too.

I feel dumb cause I didn't know you could hold the trigger to delay the explosion on the granade launcher in reach and I've been playing it for over a year 🤷

7:07 The first thing I did when I got my 3D Printer was printing off Halo props. I've got a Plasma Pistol, Needler, and Plasma Rifle now. I'm currently working on a BR55 and Mk5 Helmet.

And how many of these weapons did we get? Just one. Still blows my mind, wish we could go back to the good ol days!
