Thanks for your message!🙏🏻 The Bloom is a Phenomenal Compressor and you have so many tool to sculpt your guitar tone with a powerful 3 band EQ. In general for any compressor pedal to get a Clean Funk Rhythm first you have to try to Set the Volume at a unity gain setting to keep the sound as clean as possible. Blend knob settings above half-way will work best. Same with the compression knob. Don’t pass 50 per cent. It will keep your guitar tone natural but snappy. This setting will make those two-and-three note chord( Funky style) stabs on the upper strings super-articulate. Then with the Bloom add the 3 band EQ to taste depending the type of guitar(single coil or Humbucker) or the amps you use. Hope it helps you to get a good Funky snappy rhythm guitar!☺️🎶
