Goji berries are a cold hardy plant grown in USDA climate zones 5-9, and can tolerate temperatures as low as -18 degrees Fahrenheit.
Some folks have had the chance to try dried gojis, but few have had the opportunity to try them fresh as they are not typically found at market.
Growing tips start @ the 5:00 min mark. Cheers!

I bought some of your goji berry cuttings a while back and they're doing great! I cant wait till they're as big as your shrubs! 😎💕
This was great, Dan. I bought some cuttings from you back in the winter but have been unsure where the best spot to start them, but this has helped a lot. I now have the spot in mind and how I will make the berries accessible to chickens in time. You have a wealth of knowledge about everything that you grow and your sharing helps all of us. Keep up the good work, both of you.
always love your videos, Dan. We grow gojis, too, but they won't be ready for me in zone 8b until much later in the yr. Love seeing your garden flourishing
Thanks for sharing. I’m going to pick up some goji berry cuttings this afternoon.
Thanks for the great info on gojis, I didn't know they send out runners, I was going to put one next to my fence!

Thanks for stopping by. All the best!
Wow, you seem to be getting them early! Mine are still just flowering in zone 9b central cal. Looks wonderful!
Well done video and agriculture technic. I was hoping to plant some here in the Philippines but it's difficult to get. Thanks for sharing!
Yea I love this relationship lol I can’t wait to have my own gojis
I live up North a bit from you here in Red Bluff, CA. it gets down to the upper 20s here once or twice in the winter. I'm on the border of 9a and 9b. I think i should be able to grow most the same things you grow. im looking for a house with an acre or 2 right now looking to mimic what you are doing. Thanks for all the great videos!
So epic love ur foodforest it's amazing
Mine are just starting to flower and develop fruit. Can't wait!
Thanks so much for your channel and the great info. I have a goji berry plant that produces lots of fruit, but the leaves are super dry and they have a sort of film on them that looks like dust but it doesn't wash off. They're in full sun and days are hot here especially in July/August (near Sacramento). Do you know what might be going on? (Not enough water?) Thanks so much!
amazing video
You guys entertain each other very well

I can't argue with that :)
Just got my goji berries going. Can’t wait 😜
I ❤️ your channel. Are fresh goji berries better tasting than the dried ones. I live in the Netherlands and shops only have the dried kind. They sell them as a "superfood" in little packets. I've tried, but I don't like them.
I purchased one last year kept it inside Just reported in 18 gallon tube It’s has flowers on it already Few plants I kept inside One soursop died I am afraid to plant because lots of tropical has not bloomed I thinking keep goji inside for winter until it gets older for few years older then plant it may have better chance of staying alive ? Keeping it on patio for few years do u think that’s better ? What do you recommend? I so enjoy your knowledge
I have got to find a berry to try. They are so darn pretty I may just find a plant. Are they suitable for things like jam or mixing with other berries in something like pie? You are such a perfect couple and I enjoy every time we get to come along. Have a fantastic weekend

Thank you much! I hope you're able to give them a try. Nutrient dense and delicious. I posted a goji berry jam recipe over at our "Plant Based Eats " KZread channel. Many uses. Cheers!
I missed out on your goji cuttings before unfortunately. Do you think you will sell anymore. Love all of your videos, and trying the weed fertilizer now, if I can get past the smell I’m ready to use it, lol!
Thanks for the video. Are you growing Goji berries in clay or sandy soil and do you use organic fertilizer?
nice video bro
I bought a small plant for 20 bucks at home depot. Have been keeping it in the green house with 30 percent shade. Now wondering how it will grow in our intense summer heat and year around wind when it gets planted in the ground. We are 9A/B at 3100 feet. In Arizona.

Me too in AZ- Phx proper. My plant has been thriving all summer (its been in shade under a tree with added shade cloth, but my backyard gets full sun all day) but my fruits are pretty small- like caper small. I'm wondering how to get them bigger.

@@Dasani_water_drinker mine are too. Very small but tasty. We got a handful this year.
What do you use to fertilizer to make them produce?
How long did it take for your Goji's to get that large and plentiful? Five or Six you said? I like the idea maybe a cattle panel for support? They look amazing and very healthy. Also, I see that others say you sell cuttings?

About 3 years after planting we started getting some great harvests. Every year it has gotten even better. Cheers!
You sell cuttings? I would love to buy some. Thank you 🙏🏾
Where do I get starts? @channel
Can I grow it Zone 10b?

@@plantabundance you’re wife is so adorable. Is she a Filipino? :)
I think they taste like peppers. I was surprised by the taste last year was the first year we had a small harvest. No berries yet this year but the plant is growing bigger!
I've noticed the hummingbirds like the tiny blossoms. Birds eat the young leaves when other food isn't abundant but the plants recover fine.

Yes the hummers love mine, too.
Alice was all business with the picking during the first part of the video. But after you moved the camera & started giving us your tips, Alice certainly enjoyed some berries! 😂
I have a plant but it has thorns on it. Are your plant that way as well?
Do your goji berry bushes have thorns ? Mine do.
@Dasani_water_drinker

Mine does too
Who sells the cuttings?
Neat
what variety?
Can we grow them in colder climates?
@trinhzphotography350

Yes, I believe up to zone 2.
I have a massive plant but after 4 years we have no berries, is it because deer can get to it? I've not even seen a berry on it myself, saw a few blooms last year.
I've seen these with large thorns on them. Yours do not look like they have thorns. Would you be able to tell me what variety you have so I'm sure to get the ones without thorns. Thanks.
...so ??? Do/can you also do root cuttings & ship for sale?
How old is your goji berry tree
Can they grow in a container?

Yes they can!
My goji berry bush always ends up with a white mildew on the leaves. Not good for it
@plantabundance

Humid conditions can cause some powdery mildew. I only had an issue one year out of six. The plants and berries were fine. Try to not overhead water, especially in the evening. A little organic horticultural oil like neem can effectively rid the situation. Cheers!
I love berries but so exoensive i phils may i have some
Never seen those berries before

Miss your videos.
yesss everything takes time.
It tastes like persimmon to me.
My goji berries are so bitter 😣
My goji berries are the most disgusting thing I’ve grown. Very bitter. Is it the variety?
You eat the leaves too and made into soup.

Stir fry with goji berries.
Say...first 5 minis just fluff and “tips” r pretty basic general gardening tips...
I ate my first goji berry from my own plant last week.....and it tasted like a cherry tomato 🤮 Highly disappointed 😔
