ok so i have been finger boarding for 5+ years but i want to learn to actually catch the fingerboard because i wait for it to hit to the ground and hope it lands but i know i need to catch it because if i want to, say a kick flip to tail slide i would have to catch the board and position my fingers to grind but i can’t so if anyone can help that would be very appreciated thank you.

i am spinning the board too fast when trying to do a normal kickflip and i wind up doing a double/triple or maybe even a quad how do i spin it slower???
