Here is the summery. 1.Memorize less opening theory 2.aim most on tactics 3.Train and visualize from a real chessboard 4.play openings you know the best never want to surprise your opponent 5. Don't eat sugary eats and drinks or even energy drinks, only eat mostly fruits 6. Don't waste much time going deep into analysing many games 7. Change your mindset to be positive about chess (don't fear losing)

Rule #1 If you're not GM with 2.7k ELO > keep calm and have fun! Rule #2 Look at rule #1

@@Alessia_Santeramo OMGG You replied!!!!!! thank you soo much for the video... it helped me a lot
Thanks for the excellent advice! Side note: I grew up playing on a board (yes, I'm old), and I struggle with the online version partially because of the perspective change. It sounds funny that people get the same problem the other way round.
Good tips, especially the last one. When I lose i get so mad that i break stuff, but I don't want to stop playing. Hoping I can find a better mindset like you did
Finally, i can train much better for our school tournament next week thursday THIS VID IS SO HELPFUL THANK YOU!!!

Congratulations on 100k
congratulations 100k subscribers🎉🎉🎉 My favourite youtube chess streamer🙂
Thinking of doing OTB later this year, only a 1300 rated player but it'll be nice to get into the chess environment 😊
amazing video, thanks
Thanks for the video. I'm preparing for a tournament in5 weeks, so this comes at the right time :). In terms of opening prep: my only goal is to find a quick way out of theory and into chaos :D
I love your insights. Especially as a parent, making sure your children don’t feel that pressure.
do you edit all of your shorts and videos yourself? they’re incredible.
Thank you for your message. I have people that make fun of me because I take hours playing and analysing chess. I used to feel bad about it but I've overlooked it recently and I would say chess seems more enjoyable now.
I drink coffee with no creme or sugar. Sleep only 5 hours.

Never underestimate your opponent, and play your best chess regardless of their rating. Also found stretching and deep breathing before games useful.
Once I had an affine drink when I had never had caffeine before. My hand would shake an opponents thought I was nervous. But it was only the caffeine. My mind was going 150 mph. Problem was, it was going 150 mph in all directions. 😀. I did win - was mostly playing high school kids - but I don’t think it was because of the coffee.
How do I ask a chess player on a date?
Do you have cannel italophone or francophone?
i don’t know. i had a two day tournament and the first day i was maybe a touch tired and didn’t have coffee. the second day i got coffee and ended up winning all those games that day.
Hi Alessia!!!. I have a question, should i study tactics book on a chessboard, or just with pictures in book? Saluti!!!

thank you for the detox. :)
Where can I watch you speaking Italian?
Diet: No seafood during the tournament (i believe a GM once suffered a loss as a result), limited coffee, and, most of all, no blueberry yoghurts (unless you're Karpov 😉)
my repertoire opening is catastrophic. with black +1 and with white -1 by the way I managed to win against many IM and made draws with GM.
