The northern region, especially the areas higher in the mountains, can get cold during the winter but many vacation destinations remain fairly warm

@CreativeTravelGuide I want to retire in one of the colder regions of Northern Mexico where at least I could get some winter. I would not want to live where the climate is mostly warm year round.

Every destination has it's issues but many, many , many people travel to Mexico without any issues! Just make sure to stay in a good location :)
