I love my cavachon, he’s fine with being at home alone while I’m at school/work. He loves us all and it almost always willing to play and oh my gosh he’s such a snuggle bug!!he acts like such a puppy! 🐶

My cavachon just turned 7 this June and I’m thinking about getting another one so she has a buddy to hang out with while I’m at work. Definitely the best breed I’ve ever had! She was very hyper as a puppy, but she chilled out a lot and is now the most laid back dog I have ever had.

divya reddy no, they are typically very low maintenance and good for people who work a lot or live in smaller houses or apartments. I would suggest crating them while you’re gone as a puppy though because they can get bored and start tearing things up, but they will grow out of it.

@@alexisnicole9861 thanks for your reply !! They’re super cute and wanted to get one but I was reading that they tend to have separation anxiety so was worried. But looks like it depends on the way we train them from the beginning

I have a 3 years old Cavachon. I research a lot before getting her since I wanted a breed that fits my requirements: affectionate, a dog that didn't shed and needed a moderate amount of exercise, a calm and loving dog. I travel between the US and France so I wanted a dog that was small enough to travel in cabin. My dog weight 14LBS, she has an amazing good caracter, she loves poeple, she loves cuddling, she enjoys going outside. I trained her to go on a wiwi pad so she can go when she needs it. She is a fast learned, she is intelligent, she has a lovely attitude. She is a wonderful dog, a great companion.

Cali is now 3 years old! I agree, cavachons are very affectionate and take after the routine of their owner.

You forgot to put on your list the grooming experiences she will need and that not cheap , she’s adorable 🥰

I just got a cavachon puppy. Yes, mine is extremely active. Different from my first puppy. Which Was a Bichon. It took me two weeks to potty train my Bichon. I'm still trying to train my Cavachon.

Surprisingly, Cali was easy to potty train. I had to create a potty schedule for when we would go outside and that was super helpful!

Great video! We just got a Cavachon a few weeks ago. He is now 12 weeks and a ball of energy. They are just the cutest dogs, right?

I don't even think my Cavachon is a Cavachon at all! hes more like a Chewbacca beagle

My male cavachon just turned 5 , he is active but not crazily so as he used to be during his first 2 years . Definitely more chill and not a morning dog at all 😂 He wakes up later than anyone and goes to bed before everyone else and , so I think eventually u ll have less problems with all that jumping and running around ))) Cavachons are the sweetest dogs ! Love people , but as they age their love ll be mostly reserved for those whom they know from a puppyhood , I.e., it’s important to introduce your beautiful girl to your close circle . ( They ll play with a stranger at any age but not not as willingly ) . Make sure u follow the strict regiment with a heart worms prevention pills , it’s very important , if u take her on a “nature walks” then some kind of anti ticks measures should be taken also ( with cavachon ‘ s coat it’s nearly impossible to find a tick once it found its way to the skin ) , also check her ears regularly for cavachons are prone to ear infections (trimming inside her ears and finishing her grooming with a few drops of ear wash is a must in order to avoid a serious problem) . Otherwise , they are a great dogs , easily adopt to your lifestyle and very well behaved . Health and happiness to you and your beautiful puppy ❤️🌺👍

Cali does bark a lot. I'm actually enrolling her in some training. It took me 7 months to potty train Cali.

Did she seem to bark a lot? I live in an apartment.

Sometimes! Now that Cali is almost 2 she only tends to bark at noises she hears in the building. She’s a great guard dog lol
