Hi Sbahle, Im looking to move to China to teach English, I’m just concerned about the schools because I’ve heard some are bad and good, which schools are good/bad? Is first leap good?

Highly recommend reading reviews on the school or asking people in Facebook groups. First leap was very good to us. It's sad its closed now.
How easy is it to get at basic African food like yam, plantain, Eddos etc.

Yes, we have apps that translate Chinese to English.
Lol let me share a story I was in China 2018 for 3 weeks and we walked to the mall around 6pm for night shopping for 8pm I left them saying I am walking to the hotel. Did I not get lost in peace I had to fear and people were on the streets. The only challenging thing was that no one spoke English this was in Beijing. I was then later asked to take a pass that passes by my hotel when I showed them a hotel card. Eventually, someone showed me how to walk back. I arrived at the hotel 9pm, without getting a heart attack etc. Unfortunately, I can't ride a bike so I could not hire it.

Absolutely, I know people who taught here for a year, arranged school, paper work etc, then went to get their child 🤗 definitely ask the company or school about it as well
