Because there’s a saying “must be something in the water”. Sometimes the word water is replaced with the word air. This saying is used when something happens amongst a group of people, but is rare. It’s rare that you would see this amount of teachers fall pregnant at the same time within the same school. They don’t believe it’s actually the water, it’s literally just a saying.

My home economics was pregnant and she came back with her kiddo. I was her assistant for one of her classes and would help her with her son and she was surprised how well I was with infants. Even had me in one class to show how to change a baby and burp a baby.
