I have the cole haan zero grand they are soooo comfortable. Highly recommend.

Very helpful. At 75, I know I won't grow taller. In fact, the opposite is true. I hate looking frumpy. Your videos give me hope.

Thank you for this! I live in the exurbs - near a small city but out in the country. I am retired - I hardly EVER wear heels anymore. I spend 90 % of my time helping my elderly mother, walking my dog, gardening and other pursuits that call for very casual clothes - but I don’t want to look like an old slob 🤣.

I have my mother's foot and heel shape, a foot/heel that is hurt by most shoes, and that those little low socks sill not stay on (even with a silicon band at the back). I also have to wear orthotic insoles inside my shoes. So I turn those little low socks upside down and slide them over the orthotic so my foot has sock between it and the orthotics. Doesn't do anything for the _sides_ of my feet, but it stops the feet soles from sweating.

The nude oxfords seem pretty popular. From experience Cole-Haan tends to run narrow. Check the sizing on the link. It suggests tracing feet and indicates measurements for size and width. Just trying to head off disappointment.

Donno if this is a trick or not but I find with heels because my legs are smaller then my torso the ones with the bit on the top like small plate form I guess you know the ones where the front has abit at the bottom making it higher they seem to suit me the best as I find they make me more proportional

The brand is Lacoste, but it might be sold out, I've included a similar pair from Banana Republic.

Ankle socks were popular in the mid 1980's. Those socks are tinier.

I love the look of those nude Oxford sneakers, but the link is not working. Could you share it again? Or perhaps share the brand? I’m based in UK.

I do too. However, due to surgery from a broken ankle, I find it very hard to wear high heels. Another thing to consider, as we age sometimes high heels can throw off our body alignment. I have arthritis in my back and try to wear low-heeled shoes, when requiring a heel for my outfit.

@@vals74 so sorry about hear about your ankle. As I age my heels has gotten a lot shorter. I have short legs so any heels or wedges makes my legs look a thousand times better. I'm sure the heels aren't great for our bodies over time, unfortunately. 😫 Thanka for the reminder because I do forget that fact from time to time. ❤

I can never keep no-show socks from sliding under my foot. I’ve got narrow feet, maybe that’s why..

I used to hate sneakers for the same reason, but I gave them one more chance. I tried the sneakers with a bit of heel support, they elongate the figure. It might sound like a contradiction but the chunkier the platform is at the heel, the better!
