No one comes to the Father except through Me.' (John 14:6) 'For God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son (Jesus), that whoever believes in Him, will not perish but have everlasting life.' (John 3:16) (Eternal life with Jesus in heaven / paradise versus eternal hell and damnation for all who reject Him.) 'God saved us not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy...' (Titus 3:5) 'Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy, He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.' (1 Peter 1:3) Jesus Christ left all the glory of heaven and came down to earth through the vehicle of the womb of Virgin Mary. When the Holy Spirit came upon her, she conceived, even though she was never with a man. Jesus Christ was Fully God, Fully Man. Jesus Christ lived 33 years on earth. He was the Representative of Man, as the Perfect Sacrifice, for God's holiness cannot co-exist with sin, and necessitates a Perfect Sacrifice as sin offering. This is so that Man can now come freely to God to HisThrone of Grace to receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. God loves man immeasurably (whom He created) and this necessitates the Son of God, Jesus Christ, to be the Sacrifice to reconcile man back to God. It pained God the Father and broke His heart immeasurably to sacrifice His One and Only Beloved Son, Jesus, but it was the Only Way. 'For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.' The Depression The strongest souls fight the toughest battles. If you envelop the word, "depression", with love, then love also embodies the word "depression". And by loving depression and becoming one with it, it's not a weakness, it's a strength. "Anyway" is the word, that has helped me, to love the word "depression" and to integrate the depression lovingly and embracingly so that the depression does not hurt but instead, fills me with pleasure, with happiness. Carrying this title gladly is the way to give up the battles. Because the only thing stronger than fighting, is peace. Because that's how you ally yourself with the depression and you're all the stronger. Depression is then no longer an enemy. But armor that offers protection.

I didnt think I had this at first but there have been plenty of days where I knew I wasn't happy, or sad, but I could feel something was wrong. These days come and go, sometimes it lasts for weeks and other times only a few hours

I actually prefer being emotionally flat 😅.I dont like the jarrin emotions I have felt in the past on many occassions.Being emotionally flat feels so safe.Doesnt affect if someone emotionally abandons me now,i dont feel lonely,i dont expect family to emotionally support me.Why change, feel emotions and be hurt.Really cant go through all that again 🫤😐😐

Yes, I can relate with maximum of this :) 1. Taking bathing, cleaning teeths or etc forgrantedly 2. Losing interests on games or going outside 3. Feeling numb as if i can't feel anything happy or sad ! 4. Extra naps or sleeps ! 5. Losing interest in eating or any of my hobbies ! 6. Far from friends ! Love to live maximum time alone ! 7. Don't want to share my feeling with anyone even not with my best friend ! 8. I'm feeling i'm going to far from everyone 9. Losing self esteem ! 10. This is so that Man can now come freely to God to HisThrone of Grace to receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. 'For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.' (Romans 3:23). 'For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.' (Romans 6:23) HALLELUJAH! Jesus Christ was brutally tortured, given stripe after stripe on His bare body using the Roman whip with ferocious hooks attached to the whip, that clawed out His flesh until He could see His own bones, and no sliver of flesh was left. He became so disfigured His face knew no form. He was spat upon, mocked at. When the time came for Him to depart earth, He said 'Father, forgive them, for they know not what they are doing.' "Anyway" is the word, that has helped me, to love the word "depression" and to integrate the depression lovingly and embracingly so that the depression does not hurt but instead, fills me with pleasure, with happiness. Carrying this title gladly is the way to give up the battles. Because the only thing stronger than fighting, is peace. “often people say they feel numb or don’t feel anything at all. they don’t feel sad but they don’t feel happy” idk why but this single statement hit different. something similar to flat mood is alexithymia, and it's super hard to deal with. When you can't tell what you're feeling, or if you can't tell if you're feeling anything, life gets confusing and scary. Don't take your emotions for granted. Some people would do anything to remember what it's like to feel again.

I feel relieved. I have some of those symptoms and I didn't know why and what to do. I still don't know what to do, I don't think I have a depression, just an episode. Hopefully. I will just try to live through it

Whenever I cry, for whatever the reason, my father always needs to know exactly why. He doesn't let me leave the room until he does. I can never tell him truth, that I'm crying just because I am. I am depressed and there isn't an exact reason for it. If I do, he'll get mad and go on a rant about how he was so poor and I should be happy because I'm not milking cows and hualing bails of hay and so forth. So I come up with lies if I can't avoid him, or just avoid him all together and cry in my room.

Hey Psych2Go! I am an ardent follower of your videos. They bring me such comfort and reminds me that I’m not the only one who feels this. Ever since entering senior high school, we were asked to make a choice between two subject curriculums. My friends all joined one curriculum, whereas I joined another. This made me even more depressed than I already was, as I know it would not make a difference to them, even if I was not there. It isn’t just this situation either. I feel like whenever I try to initiate affection with anyone, they always reject it, which has led me to grow more withdrawn and unhappy. I have lost my appetite, my ability to smile and laugh at wholesome things, all in all, my life looks bleak and monochrome. I feel like nobody can help me.

I am a depressed person for more than 4 years and now iam growing out of it a lot all by myself..... things which worked for me are 1. Willing/want to change to be better. It all starts when you feel that this is not good. 2.say that you are thankful to your organs and body everyday 3. If you have some one who cares about you and you care about them which is my father in my case ( they don't need to know about our depression) just think that they might be the victims of what you are experiencing now if something happens to you. 4. Start developing a hobby even if you don't like it. Even if you hate that just try it once ( I forced myself to read positive books) 5.meditate everyday and while you meditate think of something happy ( a gift you received or remember something you really wanna buy in future for yourself). Don't think the same thing everyday. Think of a new one each time you meditate 6.even if it is just once a day tell yourself I can be happier and I will be. (Even if you feel it's not true.... Even if you feel that's stupid)it wold be better if you tell yourself how many more times you can.

I might actually be depressed, I always have enjoyed doing sports, or playing the guitar, or just simply studying, but in the last couple of months I had to force myself to do these activities, it seems like no amount of sleep or healthy eating can help me to get rid of this fatigue. Sometimes, just suddenly I start feeling lonely( I live completely alone), or just simply sad for no apparent reason. I have been dealing with this for a long time, but never actually take care for my mental health, so thank you for your video.

The Depression The strongest souls fight the toughest battles. If you envelop the word, "depression", with love, then love also embodies the word "depression". And by loving depression and becoming one with it, it's not a weakness, it's a strength. "Anyway" is the word, that has helped me, to love the word "depression" and to integrate the depression lovingly and embracingly so that the depression does not hurt but instead, fills me with pleasure, with happiness. Carrying this title gladly is the way to give up the battles. Because the only thing stronger than fighting, is peace. Because that's how you ally yourself with the depression and you're all the stronger. Depression is then no longer an enemy. But armor that offers protection.

I always have this unpleasant sadness kind of feeling every time for no specific reasons which lead me to crying every night. I'm also really tired of everything and just lays down on bed the whole day. I don't wanna get up even taking a bath is such a task for me. I'm actually just so tired even when I'm not doing anything which leads to me being scolded by my parents for saying that I'm tired all the time when i do nothing around the house but sleep and eat. Couldn't make a single friend this year at school cause of my social anxiety that has been getting worse. Just the thought of meeting people scares the hell out of me for the love of god why am i like this

Yeah these days i started to not do what i been doing for months. I am always excited before class started but i feel down somehow when class started and i thought its just going to be a while, but when i got some motivation, i will do a thing a like, studying. But i find it really hard to just do it and find the happiness i usually got while study. I'm also feel drained and I don't feel like talking to my friends at all and i would just look down wherever i walk. I'm also one of the "positive kid" at school to so this really have a big impact on me.

i never thought I'd have to come here for genuinely trying to figure out what I'm feeling, but here I am. I have a small group of friends at school that I'm having a hard time thinking is genuine - i used to go between thinking they don't care and knowing they do but today I may as well have completely given up. None of their dumb jokes are making me laugh when they should, during lunch I tell myself I'm an extra except I genuinely mean it. When we're walking down the halls I tell myself I should be in the back and instead of telling my brain to shut up and stop overreacting I feel like it's deserved. One of my favorite joke questions I ask my friends all the time and sometimes even myself is "why do you exist?" because existence is one of my favorite words right now, lol. but it's went from being a joke to being a genuine question I ask myself and then ponder over... daily. I never thought I'd be able to know how it feels. But now that I've felt this heavy lingering sadness I simply can't explain, it's finally clear to me. and I really don't like it- i should be doing homework right now but instead of feeling obligated to do it, I'm writing this comment. I want to ask for a therapist but I don't even know if what this is deserves a therapist yet, and I can't think about telling my parents what they'd need to know to get me one in a million years. I know they'd over exaggerate no matter how I try to stop them and once I start, they're gonna make me finish telling them. I'm thinking of ways to keep that from happening. I related to three or four of these points roughly, but overall I'm just gonna listen to myself. something's definitely wrong when all I wanna do is drown the world out with music and play a game and not even that masks whatever this is. and I remember my parents asking me if there was anything bothering me because I barely come out of my room and I didn't want them thinking anything was wrong then because I thought I was ok, and now I know they were right to ask because I may not be as ok as I thought. The last time I was at the doctors and they had me do a depression survey I thought it'd be ok to keep my mom in the room and when it wasn't, I lied my way through the whole thing realizing she was gonna pry and get more information than I was comfortable with sharing. But again, I also thought I was somewhat ok then. I'm not. and I've denied every opportunity to be helped and now I have to help myself or wait until the next time I get an opportunity. xkdfjihgkldfjhglkdfjhg

(John 3:16) (Eternal life with Jesus in heaven / paradise versus eternal hell and damnation for all who reject Him. The thief (devil) comes to steal, kill and destroy, I (Jesus) have come so that you may have life, and have it to the full (abundant, meaningful life) (John 10:10) 'God saved us not because of righteous things we had done, but because of His mercy...' (Titus 3:5) 'Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ! In His great mercy, He has given us new birth into a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.' Same Here.... SHOWS WHAT EXTREME LITTLE THEY KNOW AND HOW VERY LITTLE THEY CARE.

I just have zero motivation and seem to always screw things up or make people unhappy. I literally can relate to all the points mentioned in this video. This is daunting, and I'm lowkey scared......... I just want to feel excited or actually look forward to something, I haven't felt either of those things in a long ass time

The Depression The strongest souls fight the toughest battles. If you envelop the word, "depression", with love, then love also embodies the word "depression". And by loving depression and becoming one with it, it's not a weakness, it's a strength. "Anyway" is the word, that has helped me, to love the word "depression" and to integrate the depression lovingly and embracingly so that the depression does not hurt but instead, fills me with pleasure, with happiness. Carrying this title gladly is the way to give up the battles. Because the only thing stronger than fighting, is peace. Because that's how you ally yourself with the depression and you're all the stronger. Depression is then no longer an enemy. But armor that offers protection.e
