Mine doesn’t wanna repeat the past with me and doesn’t wanna go back to his ex but he as feeling like a roll coaster to me one second he likes me likes me then the next day no he is confused about me so I never know what to do

Sadly experienced this recently. All of the signs are there but when I asked him directly he said I was not his type which was such a huge shock! I am at the point where I hope he realises one day that he’s made a big mistake.

I was bullied 7 years in school for 3 reasons: - visual impairment - my "monster-like" appearance - because it was just way too easy to make me cry, "boys don't cry", right? Bullying included: - physical bullying - mental bullying (which included but was not limited to "you'll never find girlfriend because you look like that") - a death threat What this caused: - depression - completely crushed self esteem - I had to create hard mental shell because I can't just let anyone to hurt me again Almost a year later after getting out of that hell something strange happened. Something that I thought could only happen in Disney movies and definitely not to monsterman like me. A girl managed to make my head spin with one eye contact. Unfortunately I didn't figure out what was happening until over a year later and it was already too late and she was dating other guy. I decided to wait because I thought it can wait if I still had feelings after not seeing her for over a year. Later she told me about their dating ended but I was already "gone". There was only very small part of feelings not locked away. I never managed to speak to her about feelings, she couldn't either (or so I assumed). Years later I decided to give up on finding gf. Now, after very long time all I remember about her: - clothes she was wearing every time I saw her, the way she kept her hair (I'm not joking, it's almost like photographs permanently burned into my memory) - her voice You don't have any idea how much it hurts!

@@UltraCasualPenguin Ive felt your pain many times man, Its saddening how many women just cant understand what that feels like. What takes true strength is being able to keep going after locking all those emotions deep inside and becoming alone and cold with past memories finding their way into our dreams, haunting us everyday. Hiding our emotions causes great pain, We wouldnt be able to endure that pain if we were weak. When the time comes again roll the dice and see what happens, Thats what I tell myself and hopefully I can build the courage to take that leap of faith if and when the time comes.

This is sick! If he can’t deal with his emotions and be honest Run away!

Introversion itself can be a huge factor too. If a guy is very introverted a lot of things will conflict. A person would need to judge whether to give them time, if they liked them, or let them go.

Most dont hide them due to simply "Not wanting to be tied down" The feelings are hidden because they want to be tied down with the person they have feelings for, But most believe that person will never love them back so they try and kill it all away in fear of being rejected. This is even worse when they've been rejected before.

Be careful. These could also be signs of narcissism. If you get involved with one of these, you're in for a crazy roller coaster ride.

I think patience is key. However, after waiting so long be open to expressing your own in order to give him permission to see where your head is. If he pulls back, explain that you do notice this pulling away and if another conversation occurs, explain that the in and out does not work for you.

I've crushed on a guy who gave off some of these behaviours (staring from a distance, being close one day and ignoring me the next, etc.) and I realized I'm WASTING MY TIME since this feels like high school teenage immature behaviour... Nope, don't like that! My attraction for him faded the more I thought about how contradicting and inconsistent his behaviour was: this BOY doesn't know how to deal with his feelings. I wish him well, but don't see him in a romantic sense anymore. I've learned to basically to live my life, move on and NOT to waste time thinking or wonder if he actually is fighting whatever feelings he has. No one should have to waste time on a boy who cannot decide what to do with his emotions/strings you along. I'm devoting my time love and energy for people who are genuine, DECISIVE and not wishy-washy about their true feelings.

this is my crush 100%. At times I'll walk by and I see him turn to look at me out of my peripheral vision. When I'm with him he'll mention 'oh this girl is funny you just gotta hang out with her sometime' and I'm like 'for real? I don't care right now' me and him almost the exact same person but so different at the same time, there's times where he gets close but then pushes away like confused

I worked hard to ignore him, although I worked for him. He was married so, there was nothing I could do.

Willing to wait again...

It hurts and it sucks, but at least now you know. You may need to distance yourself to get over him, but eventually you find that person you were meant to be with. All the best.

HE DOES ALL OF THIS WHAT? And I heard him talking at a party saying "I feel like she likes me, but I am not interested." to another girl. So we are at distance right now because I confronted him, but he does all of this and everything I do tarot readings and stuff like that I just get that he is hiding his feelings and doesn't want to make himself vulnerable.

I hv recently come across such a person...I m 48 yrs...he must be the same. Life wld b a lot more complex by the time we reach dis age. I m single .. n probably luk like one. He has a son..v only meet at a spiritual session weekly. Initially dere were intense gazes from him...for few weeks. But since I was not sure wot it all meant, I didn't give any response. Now he has turned absolutely sober. Takes a glance of n on... making sure dat I don't catch him. But he also carries miserable expressions in between... I feel he is guilty of his initial flamboyant conduct and fears dat I might hv understud him wrong. Because of such intense gazing.. I hv gone into my shell cause it was a very awkward feeling. Now I m trying to come out of it n show him...it's all fine. V are all humans! Hopefully coming Sunday I 'll b able to utter sm nice words to him... Advice needed asap! Originally we met in 6th grade and we had history together and i sat in a row with all boys and never talked to them since im shy but he would always talk to me and make me feel included but we weren’t officially friends yet then in 7th grade we had no classes together AT ALL BUT SOMEHOW MIRACULOUSLY Summer break i went to vacation bible school with my friend and it happened to be the same church he went too so he was there of course SO BASICALLY WE JUST KEPT FINDING EACH OTHER Alright so first I liked him in 8th grade and that’s when it was a crush but I was super shy so I never talked to him I just thought he was cute... so then middle school was over and it was the summer with high school upcoming so basically I was determined to atleast be friends with him more since im determined when I want something so I started talking to him last year around August and I told him I liked him and I also told him I wasn’t allowed to date yet and he accepted that and was like im not really focusing on a relationship rn since school is stressful and he was pretty chill about it he didn’t turn me down or whatever so then fast forward to New years ever I asked him how he felt about me since we had been talking a lil (keep in mind we go to different highschools so all this time we have just texted this is all from texts) and he was like He didn’t really know me like that so I was like alright then I started getting more comfortable with him over the months since January.. then in march I got to see him for the first time Since I started talking to him when I went to a musical he was in and he hugged me that was the best day ever:) I felt so happy to finally see him after all those months & in march I became alot closer and comfortable with him and he would ask to ft me late at night and he would sing to me or play piano sometimes on ft, he always copys me and teases me too and flirt a little from time to time and he would give me compliments and he always sends me pictures he took or tiktoks that he made and asks for my opinion on them and stuff so ofc I grew deeper feelings for him. So this past July I asked him how he felt about me and I told him to be honest with me so if he doesn’t like me i can just let go then. and he said “if I say im not sure then you’ll still hold on but the truth is im not sure”At first i was kinda bummed but I told myself he simply could have just said No so maybe there’s something there and he is a very patient guy and likes to think things out so maybe he just wants to be sure of his feelings and then some of my friends have said maybe he just wont tell me he likes me back since I cant date yet and we probably just need to be around each other more:) and also this had all been through texting anyways.. so October 15th I finally asked him to let me know what’s going on and he said “Ima be straight up. I don’t feel the same way as you do. I love our friendship so much and i’d like to keep things chill. Sorry if I’ve ever lead you on or hurt you.” I then asked him how long he felt like that because the last time I asked him about his feelings recently was this july and he then said “When you asked before and I said idk, I think I felt this way but I didn’t say that because I didn’t wanna hurt you :( ” I was in total shock I couldn’t really react because previously the night before he made a post about someone wanting to date him and I had a anxiety attack then but I later found out the post was a joke and that same night when i saw the post I immediately started acting cold towards him and asked if something was wrong but I didn’t tell him the post he made affected me... so Since I was still shaken from that I was just kinda shocked. I im still wondering why he lied to me this whole time.. I asked him for the truth and he still lied because he didn’t wanna “hurt me” well either way I still ended up hurt:( I thought he was the good guy, I’ll never be able to look at him the same after what he did..and Ive still been talking to him daily as usual because that’s just how our friendship is.. but thinking back to the texts and our energy even the facetime call’s I refuse to believe he doesn’t feel anything.. I just wont accept it. Anyone that reads our messages can see theres something there... I just feel likes hes lying to himself and does'nt wanna accept the fact he feels something because, he does'nt wanna ruin the friendship but I dont know. And yes even though all this time we’ve only talked through texts and seen eacher once since our friendship took off I still felt something..All I ever wanted was to show him love and here I am hurt and often thinking did he ever like me at some point? Where did I go wrong... was it my overthinking, my anxiety, me not wanting to open up to him about my mental health? But I cant blame myself I did everything I could and it still wasn’t enough in the end. So now here I am telling myself daily to focus on our friendship even though my mind often drifts to what we could have been if the circumstances were different and deep down I have a little hope that just maybe he’ll have feelings eventually over time if we hangout more in the future. This whole time ive wrote him a few paragraphs pouring my heart out to him and this whole time he led me on.. so embarassing. and God knows I really tried to do everything I could and I still want him to be the good guy deep down even after he lied to me. This is literally just all so difficult because I'm always gonna have love for him deep down no matter what and only I saw the potential we had. So i've decided I also love our friendship too like he said and I cant change how he feels anyways so ill just accept it.

Hi Anjalae, Unfortunately, the "how do you feel about me" question trips many people up. Sometimes "I don't know" is the honest truth, and other times it's a cop-out because they want to spare your feelings. There's nothing you can do to change his feelings, but you do have the power to decide if the friendship will be enough. He didn't have bad intentions when he said "IDK", he's young and all this relationship stuff is new for both of you. Some day you may be in the same situation of having to decide how to let someone down easy. It hurts now, but it will not always hurt.

I have been going through this for years with a friend I had a celebration party for myself and my friends ask me who was the man and I told him he was a friend and they said Tina he's more than a friend you do not see the way he look at you how he's under you how he talks to you and I had two friends say to me he's fighting his feelings what do I do about it nothing because I feel if the man is fighting his feelings that means he don't want me

I say address it by asking him to hang out, get a coffee, or a drink unless you know he has a good reason to be fighting his feelings. Like one or both of you are in relationships or he's your boss. Otherwise, test the waters, and good luck!

I say leave he needs to know what he wants he doesn't know could lead to a toxic relationship with communication issues! And you also don't want a guy one foot in one foot out! Be okay with the idea it might hurt at first but your saving yourself from more hurt in the end! And remember that maybe it wasn't your time you will both come back more grown and healed from past traumas or there is someone better out there for you!

Yes this is my crush some days less than better days ... he may be hae a bad day.. butninhave to approach him nicely

Hi Lily, I think there could be many reasons for his behavior, some that may have nothing to do with you. If you are still interested, you could send him a text to say Hi and see where it goes from there.. If he doesn't respond, I suggest you let it go and move on.

It is not always because a man is insecure or don't know what he wants. If a man asked a woman 2 times and a woman says no because she's playing hard to get, than if he has been hurt before, he will suppress his feelings for the girl, even if he feels in love with her. This does not mean his intentions were to use the girl, it does not mean he is not serious, or he is not ready for a relation. If a man feel rejected or was rejected, he needs to totally suppress his feelings for her, before moving on. For some people this will take time, for others not that much.

I don't understand those who have so many problems, and they end cracking like dogs, if she wants to go she can very well go to ............. I would definitely not suggest you wait around. Usually a guy fights his feelings because either you’re in a relationship, he’s taken, or you haven’t given him any reason to think you return his affection. Let him know that you’re available and interested and if he still doesn’t make a move then keep it moving. No time for cowards or games.

I gave him three chances . First time told him I noticed his push pull. Second time, I told him I noticed it again and deleted him from my contact list. Third time he came around and requested me to add him without any communication. I receive no communication after him adding me for 5 days. This time I deleted and blocked him. If he wants me he has to email me with proper communication. Till then ciao .

Try to get back to her thru any communication source left open by her, and communicate properly and apologise for the ghosting/coming and going and tell her you would like to talk to her ( preferably on the phone/video- if you don't feel comfortable just proper communication, not just one line of " Hey" ! ) Be willing to be consistent and open. She will definitely appreciate it if she is level headed and genuinely a good person with a healthy mind set. But because you have been in and out you will have to build the trust from scratch and change your behaviour of push and pull, and put the fear aside. I will be more than happy to respond to him, as I had a deep connection with him if he emails me with a clear mind, but his mental state of coming and going was not attractive to me, and truly bothered me . There is nothing more attractive than a guy who is open and honest to a woman who has clarity. You either want her or you don't. A strong and stable women can take a No, with respect, but doesn't respect wishy washy men who like a woman but just play hide and seek from time to time with single or one liner communication. If you are going thru a rough patch, and afraid you will loose her, let her know, you like her, but going thru a rough patch but will get back to her when you have mental clarity. Be sincere about this. But only get back to her when you have mental and emotional clarity, and if you really like her, not because you are scared of loosing her. I know it could be scary for a guy, specially if he liked her, or had some sort of deep connection. If you felt a connection, she definitely did too. Having a connection is rare, it's a gift you won't have with many, so cherish it, if you experienced such a connection with her. So over come that fear, if the reason for your push and pull was fear. If you drag your feet too long and the only thing that is holding you back is fear, you will loose her, because she will start looking for men who will be willing to do what you are not doing, by showing up. I have a guy friend who has shown most of these signs mostly the inconsistent behavior. We were texting and out of the blue I asked him what I meant to him and he answered back saying we were good friends knowing that he likes me...but he isn't the type of guys who express themselves fully so I keep on asking him to open up and its truly a struggle. He says he is all about finding chemistry . He was dating previously but his relationship ended in bad terms and he confessed to me that he considered his ex as his true love. So after that whole situation. I think he started having some reservations about the whole concept of love. What should I do...stay and try and change his mind or leave him be and the saddest thing out of all this I like him back..

Ur situation is so like me , it's just that am not sure the guy likes me 2 cuz sometimes he gets so faar and doesn't ask at all and yes he told me as well how much he luved his ex and I decided after that 2 let go cuz i honestly believe a guy who luves u won't tell u such a thing he would actually give u hints that it is only uu this is just my opinion ( God it feels bad)

Let them know how you feel if you havent already, Because trust me as a male I can tell you from experience if we dont see signs a girl likes us we are afraid of rejection we wont say anything and will try to keep a distance. Unless the girl says something to contradict that belief.

I have a question. How do males and females bond with each other? I don't see how men and women can bond (especially romantically) with each other. Women can build incredible friendships and become very close to each other in a way men can't bond, and science shows that women can bond very well with each other. I am planning to give him half a year after breakup to make up his mind. So far is 2.5 months elapsed. He had been going hot and cold now. So see what happens.

I dont know.., Talking to A guy half year... He never invites me anyehere.... O invited him but he is always busy.... Nonstop texting and calling me.... I literally just deleted his number.... Dont waste your precious time. Men that want you will let you know.
