Interesting piece! Music and dance is a beautiful and natural way to express oneself. I’m a violinist myself and it it’s a unique ability when you can play with ease and feel the emotion in the silence of the audience. I see this channel has a right leaning range of guests politically and nothing (that I could find) on Ukraine over the last 2years. Professor Darren Gerdes holds undergraduate degrees in government and psychology from Liberty University. He received his MBA, MA in Public Policy, and his Ph.D.in Organizational Leadership from Regent University. He is a tenured professor of leadership in the Hans. A Nielsen College of Business, the Director of Instructional Technology at Charleston Southern University, and the leadership program coordinator of Strack Center for Global Leadership and Ministry. He has spent the last two years making multiple daily videos on KZread on the war in Ukraine from an old Reagan Conservative Republican viewpoint. Perhaps an interview with him would interest your audience here. Regards ✌🏻

If you think of their mission, it is so moving and profound, bringing back culture and by doing so breaking with the CCP lies and propaganda. A peaceful resistance through the beauty of art. All the young dancers have such a graceful air about them.

Same here. I was blown away when I found out and made sure to go see it. Cried my eyes out.

I invited my mom and she couldn't go with me. I invited my dad & same couldn't or didn't want to.. Then I invited my sister, she had things going on. So I bought myself a really good front seat, drove 2 hours by myself to Boise and saw Shen Yun. It was so beautiful and amazing. can't wait to see them again. God bless all members of Shen Yun.

Hmm... I have the same problem -- wanting to go see a Shen Yun performance but have no one to go with me. I think I will muster up enough courage like you -- just buy myself a good front seat and go alone. I know I will find it worth it just like you did.

Our family goes every year. We bring friends and neighbors with us. My one neighbor has wanted to see it, but for 4 years straight she is invariably out of town and unable to go. It’s almost like a test for her at this point. Wonderful what’s going on…

These performers are very pure, transparent, and sincere, no wonder Shen Yun really captures the audience!

My friends who saw Shenyun said Shenyun is incredibly beautiful and meaningful! They wonder how the artists made the show so beautiful and powerful, now they get the answer!

My daughter visited Mom in Tucson last month and was fortunate enough to see Shen Yun. She was awed and moved to tears. She has encouraged my husband and I to attend when they return to our area. This cemented my determination to see these incredible people and their amazing show.

Just watched Shen Yun last week. It is MUCH MORE than the short clips you see in the ads. There are dance, stories, music, humor, and DRAMA. Highly recommend. Overall, a very well-made production that makes you feel warm inside.

I watched Shen Yun 4 times, in Taiwan and Israel and every show looked like a beauty from heaven! thank you for your hard work 🙏

Why would the Chinese government object? Surely these magnificent demonstration of ancient Chinese dance and cultural only ehance China's international reputation? I never knew until this video that the Dance Company wasn't funded by CCP as it seemed to me to represent China in a very positive way.

From my understanding, the CCP isn’t interested in promoting authentic Chinese culture, which has 5000 years of spirituality and virtues about how to live in harmony with nature and the heavens. Communism is forcefully atheist and is basically antithetical to those traditional Chinese beliefs. I’ve seen Shen Yun several times, and from what I can see, the traditional perspective rooted in beauty and universal virtues that Shen Yun portrays is the opposite of the authoritarian regime the CCP wants and has created. The CCP has done a ton of things to remove traditional culture - Eg Cultural Revolution, persecution of Falun Gong, etc, so the CCP attacking Shen Yun is just a continuation of their campaign against authentic Chinese culture and traditions. *Communist Censorship Propaganda* targets _anything_ that “challenges” their authority. They _must_ control the narrative because they are highly insecure. When “foreigners” inconveniently point out that their own people historically looked inwards (and upwards) for guidance they are terrified it will lead to people questioning the authoritative narrative - which is authority without accountability. They have become a false god demanding exclusive worship thus _anything_ that reminds people - that the government gets its power from the governed - is a threat to their fragile egos and is targeted. China will eventually collapse due to internal corruption.

Amazing people, loving life and its values, with very well developed artistic part in them. Love you all.

I struggle with the fact that "Authentic Chinese Culture" as presented by Shen Yun is the beauty and majesty in the lives of the highest of the highest 0.01% of the members of society who could afford to be entertained. Only the wealthy and royals or GOVERMENT bureaucracy ever had that level of beauty and culture. The 99.9% of that society lived in poverty, fear, and the scratching drive to succeed needed in the merchant class.
