My biggest gripe against MyRise is that it doesn't really have an ending or any set completion goal to accomplish. Other than that and a few minor gripes I think it's a fantastic career mode.

I think only Barron Blade called the CAW Van-Go, Buzz was ok, but I hated the names Red and Tre.

Only major issue I have, is that if you win the championship, when you do certain if not most storylines you don't appear or are portrayed as the champion. Very off-putting

Exactly. if you go to NXT after winning a world championship the wrestlers treat as a "new guy" and as if you didn't accomplish anything yet.

Biggest issue with myrise is.. is being a champion and if you pick a non title story, your player doesn't carry the belt to the ring. Also if you're the US (for example and become wwe champion), the game then just forgets that.. lol. And the tag team entrances!!

I loved how in previous games 2K called it MyCareer yet forced you to play the game exactly how they wanted you to play it.

The closest thing that has approached what I wanted from a wrestling create your own character story mode with narratives you create yourself and history with other wrestlers that's completely natural is that wacky ass game Wrestling Empire by MDickie. Genuinely a great time playing that game.

I like how storylines are started using Twitter that's actually pretty cool.

One thing I prefer over 2K20 over 2K22 is in my career we actually compete at ppv’s for title matches, feuds, etc. Most of the time it happens at raw/smackdown/nxt.

It’s always great to be a heel in wwe 2k22 most of the good storylines are heel wwe 2k20 my career was bad because my male character was way to goofy

Honestly if 2K19 and 2K20's story mode allowed you to have the creative freedom of your wrestler that MyRise has (IE, being able to design your created wrestler EXACTLY how you wanted them to look, fight and make their way to the ring and not a preset outfit with the rest being unlocked via lootpack) I would've enjoyed them more also give your character more choices on how their personality is presented I don't want to make some Wardlow looking dude who's preference of how he'd like his steak cooked is "Wipe it's ass and cut it's horns" only to have him acting like a dork.

Yeah it’s very limiting.

I feel the notion of the list would've been better story wise if it was done in 2k22 and not 2k20. Because My rise needs some sort of container to convey some form of progress or time passing. Plus it'd give you goals to hit and aim for, and see what creative different storyline ways you can get to that point. My rise as I've seen just seems like a mishmash of moments. Like this happens and then this and then I did this and that, but it really isn't a story per say.

I wish road to Wrestlemania from WWE 2009 came back it was the best type of story mode I’ve seen in any of the WWE games , and it’s just gotta worse since , then when 2K toke over making WWE games all they did was Ruin the games and they have bin trying to fix it since . Yer 2K22 is a great game but they added basically nothing new and it’s nothing like the old ones and like where is create your own finishes and new types off matches and better Backstage Fights and the my rise Mode they could have done it soo much better we need a mode where we can build on a story line but also beable to Freely run around the locker room when your not in a match

I was pretty shocked when I became the Messiah

Beating the shit outta Hulk Hogan was the best part in the game

my guess that it's goofy is because the developers didn't have enough time to think of a new Career mode since Yukes (their biggest developer) left 2K while the game was in development. or it's just that the Career mode just sucks

Loved MyRise over 2k19's career. That shit was so restriced and cringe. At least in MyRise I can actually choose what I do and even lose storyline matches. Makes me miss the randomly generated stories from Smackdown 2, that was wild.

When I play wwe 2k20 male character was to trustworthy of Brooklyn for some reason Female character was the better character

One thing I don’t like about the 2k20 MyCareer is how long it takes to get to WWE

I mean being a natural goof myself, I loved Tre, but I also have Red's fire and determination.

I like it better but I hate how they don’t talk or show any titles or say anything about them outside of the story’s with them

Does myrise really just keep going and going? No retirement, serious question. I’ve noticed it seems to be repeating storylines and feuds.

The lipskin is pretty bad my rise. It knows when to start and end but mid way lips just goes off

While 2k20 was glitchy as hell. At least it's my career had an ending! My rise just runs out of stories to play!

In a later story I get to use Austin and Ali in a 3-1 handicap match bs drew

I'm just glad that my characters arent forced into goofy shit. I enjoyed being serious for once

MyRise on 2k22 is broken. Once you win a title the sorry just moves on to something else. And the title is just gone. Never lose it in a match. The story is okay but there’s no point of winning a title if winning the title is literally all you can do. Can’t ever enter with it or defend it but in that one story part. It’s so broken.

Not all storylines are for champions even if there's no championship you're still a champion, Let's say you are on Raw you can win The WWE championship,United States Championship at the same time,It so fun for me,You can go to the hub dm and Mandy will that You can defend your WWE championship,Stop calling it broken not all storylines are for champions

My issue with the my rise is it's not really a career mode talking about 2k20 and 19 at least they tell you create these characters but we will take everything else from you you don't get to make that personalities you don't get to make them act how you want we turn them into complete jokes sorry I like to feel like I had some control of what my character becomes like if you're just going to name them for me and make their personalities then create the character yourself 2K because I obviously have no control what they say or turn into

Yeah better but not enough, in myrise championship seem meaningless, you can be champ but no champ enterance if you fight in a match outside of the determine storyline, and if you champ and you change brand everything will reset you will lose the champ.

wwe 2k22 my rise felt like they didnt finished it i mean you finish all the objectives and it seem like you can keep on playing but you cant at the same time so there is the problem with my rise in 2k22 also lack of consistency in that mode because where is the stories all the shit im doing there are just objectives like 2k20 maybe had a shitty story in the my rise but at least there was a story

I think you could have picked a better example for "better storylines". Tre and Miz fighting over a movie role on a movie set might be goofy, but at least it's original compared to the whole "angry former champion injures new champion" used here with Ciampa which has only been done 56776437644 times already throughout wrestling history. The main point for MyRise IMO is that it offers more freedom which is definitely a good thing, but the MyCareers in 2K19 and 2K20 offered a cinematic experience with a proper ending that gave one a sense of actual completion when finished. When you "finish" MyRise, it's just your character standing in a room doing nothing. Anything else is subjective and I like both for different reasons.

Which you get back if you're good enough not two short matches later. You can't have an undefeated reign for whatever reason in these games. It'll make you lose one.

MyRise was as good or better than 2k19's my career. The only thing I'd say about myrise is that it lacked cut scenes and the obvious no real ending but other than that it's fun and stomps a mudhole in 2k20

2020 was so annoying because when you wanted the male character to be serious and win most of his matches, he doesn’t. While we can be and win almost every match under the female.

If you talk about CAWs, probably, while It you are talking about any career mode i'd say svr 2009, 2010 and 2011 road to wrestlemania mode was better than this. Still a great mode tho.

Way too easy to get titles shots. No real sense of accomplishment. No real story to follow No calendar year No ending....apparently Forced to change your alignment to finish the story progression. Which is absolute trash. Don't come out with your title in non title matches Can get an IC, US, or North American championship match even if you are the current World Chanp in any of the brands. Stay on one brand...you end up just seeing the same arena over and over. No PPVs unless you do a story. Even then it's not guaranteed Great there is a separate womens career Enjoy the unique spin they when it came to wrestling the legends. Like Andre. Kind of odd that fans or who ever they are being portrayed as....asking you for favors. Kind of odd that a podcaster is basically manipulating you for ratings. Lol Some of the stories are quite good even if they are brief.

Probably was supposed to be. But it was probably too much of a pain in the ass to code the two Rings and the WarGames cage.

It s great realised but there are few matches compared to wwe 2k17 and u can t go to every event and ppv

One reason is because the main character isn't such an idiot as in 2k20

2K20 is the only game where a predetermined name doesn't bother me lol

MyRise is better than career mode of 2K20 but not 2K19. NBA 2K has better Career Mode and it's from 2K too than WWE 2K. Career Mode does not have character freedom, or currency or even stats of your accomplishments. Can't make choices that impact or gain relationships like HCTP or No Mercy. And for the love of baby Jesus, own your personal factions, again with relationship choices. So much they could have done, and they did 2K20 2.0

I kinda disagree that it's better because for the male myRise I finished everything at the performance center and in NXT and I can't find the last story on smackdown and raw and there's other people who can't find those last stories
