This message is so profound, my sister passed away this March 2022 from cancer. She was a wealthy woman and lived in a beautiful house with very beautiful and luxurious furnishings but I can never forger the night she died she was taken to the morque. It was cold and bare minimum. It really shook me that what was the weath and finer things in life for. We are taken to cold storage and then buried in deep dark place. Don't strive for things you will leave behind.

Scholars are the ones that are the less worried about their financial future, may Allah bless them for the sacrifices they are making in order to keep the knowledge alive.

Allah swt will provide for those who pursue the life of knowledge and Islam in unimaginable ways and ways which you have never expected help to come from. Indeed Allah swt is the best of planners and indeed he is the most powerful and the most merciful.

It is recommended to fast nine days of Dhul-Hijjah Fasting nine days of Dhul-Hijjah is mustahabb (recommended). This is indicated by the words of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), as narrated in the hadeeth of Ibn 'Abbas (may Allah be pleased with him): “There are no days on which righteous deeds are more beloved to Allah than these ten days - i.e., ten days of Dhul-Hijjah).” They said: “O Messenger of Allah, not even jihad for the sake of Allah?” He said: “Not even jihad for the sake of Allah, unless a man goes out himself with his wealth and does not come back with anything (i.e., he expends all his wealth and is martyred).” (Narrated by al-Bukhari, 969)

6 Things you have to do when someone brings you tails about others 1. You don’t believe the individual 2. You should forbid him from doing this 3. You should hate him for the sake of Allah 4. You shouldn’t have bad intentions about the one who is talked about 5. This should not cause you to spy 6. You should not fall into what the tail teller is doing.

When some of your “best” lecturers and speakers enjoin arms with the LGBTQ community and some saying the Quran was altered (I won’t name them), you know it’s bad. Luckily they got sheikh uthman who’s been on the fast rise as of late

If it will cause too much drama and make things worse then just repenting is sufficient if I recall correctly. One must also try to counter act it by speaking good about said person

As salaamu alakium Imam. I have a question ❔. I'm recently retired and took the lump sum from my pension. I'm being advised to put it all into an interest bearing IRA acount to avoid the big tax hit. I'm in the USA 🇺🇸. What's your thoughts? Thanks.
