I don’t get the negative. I like your presentation, I enjoy the way you express yourself, and I really enjoy the critiques. You helped me make a satisfying decision on two affordable keyboards by virtue of demonstrating the features available in my price range. I got what I needed without spending more than I might have. And I still keep checking out your videos. Thanks!

would something like the m audio 88 key keyboard with the addictive keys plugin from XLN audio be better than the Casio if im just looking for a good sounding piano style keyboard ? I just mostly think I need something to write melodies with so I figure more notes are helpful , also to practice singing scales that tend to go from e2 to f5 . Would a 61 key keyboard cover that range? That would be good if it was in that range but also the lower and higher keys for songwriting matter but IDK maybe I dont need the extra keys, what do you think in terms of sound quality and the extra notes? Do you find almost no songs you play ever even go to those notes? I would write so maybe I instinctively might not use them either. Thanks for any help

You thought you were confused!?! Ha, Lol... I felt confused as well on the Yamaha PSR-E363 vs Casio CT-X700, but I decided to go with the CT-X 700. Overall, I felt I was getting more value from the Casio - mainly piano features and the sound 'to me', and etc. The Yamaha piano is a great option as well, but Casio was just slightly better depending on your usage and listening ear. Hey Jeremy, great review - again! I've listed to several of your reviews and it's always informative; appreciate it!!

Long story short, I inched my way up from the Yamaha PSR-E-363 to the Korg EK-50. Any recommendations on stands and pedals? There are a lot to choose from but what would you recommend? Make a video if you can, I am sure there are nuances that a newbie like me may want to know. I have my eye on a Z-Style stand but it's expensive. What are the positives and negatives to x and z stands? Also can you do a pedal recommendation video? The Korg EK-50 looks like it has a regular 3.5mm jack for headphones which is cool.

Great job giving good expert advice on these keyboards. I have CT-X700 and it sounds great. I use the registration banks to create different presets and some use layers which can have really impressive sounds for accompanying in the church band I'm in. I also have a Roland Go Keys that has somewhat more sophisticated sounds but less powerful control functions and capabilities. For example, it has no layering and also the record function does not auto repeat, at least I haven't been able to find these capabilities. Also on the CT-X700, the first available function is transpose which makes it a very fast operation if you need it.

I really enjoy your videos. They overall are very concise and non partisan, and this one is no exception. I currently possess the psrew400, the psrew463, and the Casio ctx 5000. I play gospel keyboard and love to interject different flavors into my performances. When hunting for keyboards sometimes media can play tricks on you. Pointing out these differences for example, would have been welcome advance had I encountered you and your videos prior to assembling my collection of keyboards! Lol! I I went with Yamaha in the beginning because I felt as though Yamahas name meant superiority in quality, but when I got them they still didn't possess what I was looking for. The CTX 5000 was purchased primarily because of price, but it turned to be more than I bargained for! At this juncture, the only thing I am missing is the 76 keys for the 5000, but then this would have put me in another price range! Thank you Mr. See for your valuable inputs! I am taking good notes this time!

I'm buying the Casio or Yamaha in a day or two. Really can't decide which one to buy. Most interested in pianos and keyboards sounds and I 'think' I prefer the Yamaha grand piano over the Casio, which sounds a little too 'sharp'???? However, the Casio does have many advantages over the Yamaha generally, so might go with that one? Can you say something about the piano quality of both these. Thanks for video, sorry about those trolls!

Went with CTX-700 for $149 as all the shortcut buttons sounds better for the first keyboard for an old absolute beginner. The $50 I saved over the psr-e363 paid for several books on learning to play a keyboard. Also like that the keys on the Casio are full height similar to acoustic piano keys. Thanks for the thorough coverage of both.

Bit confused after watching two of your videos a) the previous Title: YAMAHA PSR-E363 vs CASIO CT-X700 - Functions & Features Demo & Review and next the current one b) 7 Reasons Casio CT-X700 is better than Yamaha PSR-E363 - a clear verdict this time! I have planned to buy one beginner's model. If this video was not published, I could have gone straight for YAMAHA PSR -E363, but now ... it's got tough. Please advise. Also can you please throw some light on Roland entry band (within this price brand). Thanks.
