I hope he does feel proud and accomplished. Very few musicians ever managed to pull off composing an entire album and recording all instruments by themselves. This man right here is a LEGEND❤

You can tell he's proud of it even at his shows. I went to the show in Dallas Texas 4/25/2023. And everytime he played one of his neon noir songs and the crowd was really into it, he had a smile on his faceq

I guess he is even happier because the people accept him as VV, and support him all the way, with or without the band. I can see he appreciate now more the fans, his relation is closer to them.

I got to see HIM in 2013. I remember cutting the line at the meet & greet and it going so quick. But the highlight was getting a hug from Ville!!

I love the discussion of how the album title can be interpreted... for me "Neon Noir" invoked a mix of the imageries of blinding brightness and darkness, and made me think of the HIM album title "Dark Light" but as a contrast to it.

Indeed, many greats did their own thing, Prince, Kravitz, and Stevie Wonder, giants of the rock and pop industry. Like Ville, they had someone mix and master or even play the music in session, but they pretty much wrote entire albums. They heeded their muse, unlocked all that brilliance, and created unparalleled works of art. Ville adds "Neon Noir" to that list. Since the album has been released, I have yet to skip one-day playing it. I will be able to sing the entire thing when I see VV in May.

I am so excited about seeing VV on tour. It's been wonderful to watch all these new interviews.

Thank you Ville for an amazing concert in London. It brought back memories of good and special times. My dream came true. Greetings from a Polish fan 💜

I think he became a better and wiser person after the depression he had during the pandemic. I see this new album as a journey through the dark night of the soul and his current girlfriend was a kind of constant and saving presence that helped him get out of the abyss he was in, as he says in Neon Noir - “From the abyss I pirouette my way back to you”.

Unbelievable how 25 years of HIM, Ville primarily focusing on singing and now with his solo album taking on all the aspects of a song, vocals, guitar, bass, drums etc. still putting out a refreshing album and nostalgic sense of HIM vibes. Great album and i’m happy he’s still chasing music. 🤘🏼

Ville can’t wait to see and hear you live . Romania loves you ,see you at romexpo .Btw ,I love Gone with the sin ,I sang it about 50 times today,man it’s a true masterpiece since 1998.Thank you for all your musical gifts .

I love Ville so much. His music has followed me 2/3rds of my life and I connect so many feelings and life stages with it. Visited his concerts in Bremen and Leipzig and it was incredible. Seeing him on the stage, healthy, smily and with his new songs and old songs made me so happy and emotional. What a great artist, I'm so thankful for him ❤

I remember HIM music from late 90', early 2000'. Since than my music tast has changed but sometimes I still listen "join me". VV has very unique vocal, very deep and sensual, masculine with a female quality to it.

I love him. His new album is fantastic

Ville valo is like richard ashcroft when he left the verve when he went solo both amazing artist and great in the band. Wish him would do a tour in the future randomly

To album je skvělý, není tam písnička, která by se mi nelíbila a zároveň z toho mám pocit, jaký jsem měla z HIM, přesto že je to jiné, osobnější. A že to nahrál sám je neuvěřitelné, doufám, že to není poslední album. Ráda ho poslouchám i ve finštině s Agents. Vypadá spokojeně.
