It's cause this genre tends to offer more value to the player. And corpos hate that.

What's interesting to me is that these games work for me whereas arcade high score type games usually don't. I think it's probably because of the RPG aspects and the mission-based approach that you have to take. Truly interesting

Hive Jump 2: Survivors has entered the fray! Adds Jetpack for more unique stage traversal across bespoke levels within a sci-fi aesthetic + Starship Trooper vibes!

Bullet Heaven is my preferred genre title for it.

The reverse bullet hell genre is only gonna get bigger thanks to Vampire Survivors' insane success (there's a reason most of these are in Early Access). I feel 20 Minutes Till Dawn is easily the most promising on this list, though all of them seem to have some appeal. I quite like Rogue Genesia's and Spellbook Demonslayers' style too.

Yeah I honestly love how many of these games popped up after the success of Vampire Survivors! I think Soulstone Survivors is my favourite, with Rogue Genesia being a close second.

Great video, man! And yes, the sub-genre is packed with fun and new releases. At the time of writing this, I'm probably having the most fun with Yet Another Zombie Survivors, as it adds some cool AA graphics in the mix.

@@NoiseBerryGames , big difference is HC in the center stands characters. Every character is unique, because of stats, 1 unique weapon and 3 unique skills. Because of that every character has their build and mechanics (for example evade after getting damage build or heal-crit build). Second one is aiming. By mouse or right stick. And last one, waves of enemies. You can't stand and do nothing while enemies killing themself by your weapon. There always waves that force you to change position and target.

VS has endless mode too so soulstone isn’t that much different.

I gotta say holocure is easily my favorite of the bunch. I enjoy the sprite work and detail of the game, and it's not halfbad with it's content. I recommend it.

Wish it was on mobile. VS nailed it, controller support and landscape mode, it's unmatched on mobile. So impressive and appreciated.
