7 Must-Know Phrasal Verbs for Daily Life
I explain seven very common English phrasal verbs that you can use in daily conversation with your friends, family, and coworkers. Because these are common, you probably already know some of them, but you might not be using them correctly.🧐
The phrasal verbs I talk about in this video are: SPEAK UP, DROP OFF, PAY BACK, RUN OUT, GROW UP, END UP, and GET AROUND
I'm Teacher Mike, and I'm an English (ESL/EFL) teacher from the United States.

That's a different use of "speak up", but it's still a good example.

It's a little weird because the first two verbs are passive and the the third is active. I would probably say something like "I was born and raised in California, and I still here now."
He hasn't paid me back the money which i lent him .
I'll pay you back, once i get my salary.
