Hey at least Svangaskarð is on the second-largest of the Faroe Islands! Nólsoy has a population of about 200, an area the size of Alderney, and they've managed to squeeze a pitch on there! The most remote ground in the league is probably FC Suðuroy's á Eiðinum stadium, which is a three-hour ferry away from the capital and then out of the harbour and a drive to the west side of the island. Until the island of Borðoy was connected by a bridge, Klaksvík had to get a boat to the mainland, get across the mainland, and then another boat!

Not a football/soccer stadium but Empower Field at Mile High home of the Denver Broncos of the NFL is because the city of Denver in Colorado is literally a mile high so the air is less thick so players who aren’t used to it get exhausted a lot easier than the Broncos players who are used to the high altitude. This is basically confirmed because the Broncos have had a 51-8-2 record in the first two weeks of any season since they have played there

So, the name literally means “Official Stadium”. And the stadium is in the middle of our capital city of Malé. Thanx for including Maldives in this list. Good luck!!

In terms of remoteness by distance from the mainland, I think Addu Football Stadium (also in the Maldives, in the southern part) deserves a shout (although probably not used these days, it hosted a group in the 2014 AFC Challenge Cup). To add to its remoteness, I remember reading in an article and hearing from the commentators about the Philippines national team (Azkals-related video please?) having to take boat rides to and from the venue, some of the players even suffered from motion sickness.

I know I've been there once to watch a friendly against Las Palmas and once to buy a car, I test drove it through that tunnel to the left to check out the engine sound (I bought a V6). Its sits in-between two mountains and has spectacular views of the ocean, one of my favourites to visit. Oh and La Palma well worth a visit, to the north of the island is a Rainforest.
