What I cannot get over is the low cost of condos, food and other basics of life.

Here's another normal thing you'll see in Thailand that not so much in the US and other Western countries. You will see men wearing flip flops, sandals, slides even shoes (when you slide your foot in over the heel of the shoe/fold over) 2 sizes too small. The heel of the foot over the edge. Can anyone inform me on why that is a thing out here?

Pay to play culture is one of the best parts of living in Thailand. But obviously because I am able to partake in some capacity. I hate the pay to play in US because I’m not a billionaire or politician so, cannot participate and thus, not a fan 😂
