There’s a general consensus out there for most family men that they desire to be respected by their wives more than loved.

I appreciate this so much. I'm divorced because of these exact reasons. I had no respect for my ex because of it. All of those things. Especially the first one. No follow through. Literally every step hit home with me. It's like the seven reasons why I left him... I kinda want to share this with my man so he knows what to do.

It’s weird to act like it’s antifeminist at the end. You should read Bell Hooks “The Will to Change: Men Masculinity and Love” and “Feminism is for everyone” these are core feminist texts and will help you understand what feminism actually is and not just some anti man buzz word definition. But I did think this video was worthwhile with good advice and tips. I was concerned seeing it on my recommended because I thought it was going to be red pill-esque but it’s not and I appreciate someone actually giving good advice to men

I appreciate you checking out the video despite the hesitation of it feeling “red-pillesque.” My understanding of feminism is from the modern day belief of trying to make women more masculine and how that results in them somehow being “strong women.” So my jab at the end was meant for that school of thought. I believe in traditional roles within a marriage and that we are meant to compliment each other. My wife is strong in every area I am weak and I am strong in every area she is weak. Together we make an incredible team. And I’ve been given the honor and duty to lead her and our family, so I work hard to be worthy of that leadership. Many modern day feminists that I’ve encountered have a big problem with this because they assume that the man is automatically “the boss.” And I disagree with that. Being a leader does not make you a boss, it just means that you have to lead by example first before anyone else in the family.
