For those on a tight budget, you can just use a 30x30cm or 40x40cm mirror, make a grid with black tape and reflect light through the mirror on the wall, and you will get that effect.

Manny, I've watch you for a long time and have admired your work. I see another new and inspired Manny now that you have been working in this new studio. I see the real creativity come out of you and into your work. All I can say is "do yo' thang" it's yours for the taking. And please continue to share your experiences with us that's less fortunate at this time. Big Thanks!
So nice to see someone giving great tips instead of endless camera reviews. Beautiful work as always!
Cant believe people sleep on you bro. Youve literally helped step up not just my portrait game up but my whole photography in general. Great content, love to see it.
I love the outros bro! You're my fav YT photographer. I've learned so much, thank you!

When it comes to Portraits Manny is the Real Deal
I absolutely love the use of shadow in this video!!!!
Dope photos!! One of them looked like a straight up building with!! Her pony tail was super dope!!
😯🤩 Dope captures especially the LED shadows 📀📸 Your models are always stunning and your photography highlights their beauty/essence
Manny these photos are 🔥 and give me so many ideas to go and shoot with.
Good job Manny, love your stuff and use it all the time. Probably going to pick up the gobo setup based on this video alone.

Brilliant video, cheers!
Thanks for continuing to Highlight this projector. I have one and I’ve been trying to figure out whether The godox FV 150 or 200 will be sufficient
Very creative and authentic
Nice one I love it your work
Thank you for this wonderful effort. Greetings to you from Libya
Yo this was so dope
Very cool, I'll have to try this. 0:50 - "one on *each side* " makes more sense than when people say "one on *either* side" so thanks for that grammatical accuracy, I wish more people would do that.
Man this is great...Solid stuff. Manny is givin' away tha bag. lol
goat 🐐 bro different with it
Love the ending!
love it!
Excellent. Thank you 👍🏻
Those color shadows are futuristic.

Been thinking how to create this shot . This just made it easier 😆🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
I love a good slit customization video
Finally found a video with proper information
Hey Manny, you need to do a comparison between the Z 50 1.2 and the RF version. I appreciate these tips!
that was cool!
What are you recommendations for best backdrop colors for beginning studio photography. Something for a home studio. Curious as to maybe 2-3 colors I should start with first for a backdrop
Appreciate the tips bro!!! When you coming to London?
Hi, thank you for this video! is it have an option to change lens (of canon ef amount) ?
Oh my gosh! I’ve been thinking about this lightning technique for so long and finally got my answers thanks a lot! Also have a question. I’ve checked your presets out and I see they are applied to outdoors shots. Are you using any presets shooting in studio? Thanks a lot once again you are a huge help and biggest inspiration to me
Hi Can you please tell me which lens is better for nikon z6 between: Sigma 50mm 1.4 Art or Nikon z50mm 1.8? I mention that I have the FTZ adapter What would you choose? Thanks
nice effects and tuto. can you please explain how you setup your Z7II (AF, buttons you press) for such shooting ? it looks as easy to use as you did with a7m3 ! new firmware coming in a couple of days for better eye detection :-)
man u the best.
wow 😍😍
Man they F'd up when they let Manny get a studio. 🔥🔥🔥 #beardgang
I came here after seeing that slit photo on Instagram, whew! Man that photo is crazy 🔥
DOPE!!
Your play with light is so awsm, that to artificial light that's great 🔥🔥🔥
how is the optical quality/ bokeh on the Z 50 f1.2S
Hey, another banger vid, where can u purchase the shaping sticks please 🤙🏽🌊
Hey manny I’m trying to figure out if it’s better to get the ad200 or 400 I’m looking for something that could give me possibles with taking skateboarding photos and the occasional photos I’ll do outdoors with lights on a budget around 700 what do you recommend?
Boom! 🔥🔥🔥😎
0:32 - I need to get this, i hope its available here but my Godox QT600ii are too big for it??
Manny, I want to use the optical snoot with a 25mm E mount, is that possible? So the windows shadow will be bigger, Is any adapter needed? Ive read that for the godox optical snoot they only sell 3 types of lens
That light modifier is straight 🔥 im going to need to figure out a way to MacGyverr my own 😜👍 #beardgang
I bought this projector because of your video and I’m excited to play with it, but I hate trying to use it with my strobe because I can’t see what the light is looking like until I take the shot and it’s a lot of guess work! Can you recommend an affordable led light (preferably godox brand) that works with the godox projector and is powerful enough to do portrait photography with?
When you did the three led lights with different color jels, did you also use the S30 - Z lights?
im thinking about buying the projection attachment but not sure if it works on the ad600
Great vid. On the shot at 1:03 when your adding the blue LEDS, what are the settings on the godox and camera, that your still maintaining the blue light? I was messing around the other day and when I was using a colored LED after I threw a flash in, I lost all color it was casting

Your flash area is spreading too far or overpowering your LEDs too much. The blue light in this video is shining on the backdrop, but the backdrop is only being lit by a small area of the flash. If you can't keep the flash from lighting the areas that you want the colored leds to fill in, then you can try adjusting your shutter speed slower so that you get more exposure from the LEDs. It's common to have no lights on except for the LEDs, slow down the shutter, so that when the picture is taken the flash goes off and the slower shutter allows the LEDs to add their color to the shot. And the pictures are usually increased a lot in saturation so that the LEDs are more prevalent.
oota work on those outroz lol...🤭🤣...Great videos as always I learn so much in ur creativity it's definitely off the hook love it!👌
Does anyone know if the Godox projection attachment can be mounted with a profoto strobe? Would I just need to buy a godox ring attachment?
@mannyortiz what’s better the Godox sa-p gobo kit or Madmod kit for Gobo? Is the godox worth the extra $$?
Love your vids. See you in a little bit 😉
Hi Manny! I love your channel; it is very informative. I would like to know how to achieve amazing photos (especially at night) with the Sony A7ii, could you please do a video for it? Pleeeeease. I can't find anything and don't know how to use mine :*(
Great work Manny.. are you shooting with the nikon z7 or z7II
Yooo. Those colored shadows are dope. Your name should be Manny Ideaz.
Why have I only seen your videos today???!??!? U explain very well
Thank you my idol bro !! I’m good friends with Brandon Cole I should have this in a few weeks I can’t wait to get it
is it possible to use this same technique with a Speedlight Flash? The Gobo Light Shape is so good.
Where do you find the wall-mounted backdrop roller and rolls? I saw the other video with that awesome red background too. Are they just generic Amazon products or you got a brand from BH that has good quality rollers and paper?
I wonder how you got the unit on the flash? Doesn't the big, protruding flash head block the SA-17 adapter from fitting into place?
Did it also works the optical snoot with continuous led light instead of flash lights to obtain the same results?
