So much has changed... Amazing to see the one bell pub still open

I was born & brought up in Watford but moved to Devon in 1988. A lot has changed, but some things are still the same. I’m pleased to see the pond has stayed & it needed an update. Jackson’s the jewellers I remember, along with the old coffee shop with the monkey in the window with the large grinding wheel. (I don’t suppose that’s still there). Thank you for taking me down memory Lane. I remembered what many of the shops used to be. I see Charter Place has been updated, but doesn’t look much better 🤣

Oh I miss Watford!! I used to live in Borehamwood and I haven’t been here since 2016 but it’s all different now from what my mother has told me!

Laila S oh different as in the shopping centre has been re modelled and new shops in the high street. It’s still a beautiful town! If I could I’d move back there or Bushey! :D

had long time there i miss Watford a lot it was a lovely place i used to work for M&S
