7-minute Promaster City cargo van conversion to campervan - 93 essential tools and supplies

#campervanconversion #camping essentials #rvlife
93 items allow you to convert an SUV, mini-van, or small cargo van into a campervan in 7 minutes. I transformed my Promaster City back into a cargovan in just 5 minutes. It is a no-build, easy-peesy job that even an old lady can do.
General Furniture
Boot/shoe rack - (IKEA “PINNIG” $55, 3-shelves, turn middle shelf upside down to block boxes from sliding off shelf)
Cloth bins to hold things on shelves (wood bins are too heavy and cumbersome)
Colorful rug
Exercise mat for under rug (for crawling on your knees and insulation)
Command hooks
Cooler (small for short trips, Bison 25-qt for long trips)
Fire extinguisher
First-aid kit
Fairy lights (IKEA Christmas, battery operated. Don’t get annoying blinking ones.)
Bug screens (I sewed magnets around the edges, one for a window, one for a door.)
Window covers or curtains (cut out of Reflectex, magnets taped to edges.)
Curtain on expandable curtain rod for between cab and cabin
Foldable chair for outside, mine also works inside
Foldable table for inside and outside
Plastic rug for exterior (opt, I seldom use)
Small kitchen trash can and small recyclable trash bags
Several large trash bags (for wet towels &long time boondocking)
Hangable, rechargeable, usb camp lantern
Small usb fan with clamp
Small dust pan and broom
Solar-chargeable flash light
For Sleeping
Sleeping bag
Pillow
Expandable mattress (camping air mattress, IKEA “SKALT”, $120)
Thermal blanket
For Cooking
Coleman one-hob camp stove
Cans of butane
Wind screen
Sauce pan with lid
Cast iron fry pan with lid (cast iron can go on the campfire)
Coffee/tea mug
Bowl (or just use your coffee mug)
Plate
Scissors
Fork, knife, spoon
Sharp knife for veggies and carving
Bread knife (opt)
Can opener, bottle opener, cork-screw
Tea kettle (or use sauce pan)
Thin cutting board
Tongs (long ones if you like to cook on the campfire)
Spatula
Small sieve
Lemon squeezer (I like fresh margaritas at cocktail hour)
Expandable marshmallow forks (opt)
Food (kept in van all the time)
Water filter
Jugs of drinkable water (my dog and I need a gallon/day)
Coffee/Tea (pre-ground)
Coffee filter holder (cone or Aeropress-I have silicone collapsable holder)
Coffee filters
Granola
Salted almonds
Can of soup or stew
Salt/pepper
Clean-up
Paper towels
Small squirter bottle of 1/2 white wine vinegar and 1/2 water
Expandable dish pan
Small plastic squirt bottle of diluted eco-friendly soap
Scraper for pans
Dish towels
Personal hygiene
pee bottle
toilet paper
Med size recyclable plastic bags
Small airtight can to store poop-bags (mine and Annie’s) until reach nearest trash can
Cloth shopping bag to hide pee bottle and poop-bags
Toilet kit
10x magnifying mirror with stand (my eyesight is horrible)
Face wipes (I use at night)
Baby-wipes (general clean-up, keep in door pocket)
Hand sanitizer, keep in door pocket
Hand towels
Wash cloths (one for each day)
Larger quick-dry camping towel (LL Bean Tek Towel)
Bug repellent, After-bite
Finger nail kit
Sewing kit
Tools & Electronics
Fog horn (scares away bears and boogey-men)
Head lamp (rechargeable or w/ extra batteries)
Small transformer that plugs into cigarette lighter for charging USB devices
Solar battery (250 watt works fine, my 540 is overkill unless you have a 12-volt fridge)
12-volt to AC converter to plug into cigarette lighter charge
Fold away solar panels to recharge when not driving (mine fit on the dash board)
Screw driver, axe/hammer, pliers, level
Bluetooth speaker (opt)

Extra bungee cords
Large clips
Hooks to hang things from handles on van
Measuring tape (opt)
