I was here for these! They filmed in Portland, an hour before the show and an hour after. Crowd was really hot. We were really tired by the time Athena vs Marina came on as the second to last match for the ROH title, but they had a solid match. These are only a handful of what we saw, so they still have a lot of matches in the can too.

I agree. They should move her to ROH along with Skye Blue, Kiera Hogan, Teal Piper, Diamante & Emi Sakura. I have very high hopes for ROH, want to see it & because just a great as it once was.

@@gmac673 I think both of them (Marina and Ronda) have some troubles to get their legit MMA background flow within a pro-wrestling match. One can see that Marina is a better shoot fighter than most women wrestling on the shows, but her moves do not always work in telling a story. I think this match with Athena worked better than usual because it was basically built on both simply beating the crap out each other.

Shafir will be ROH champion, very soon. Extremely impressive. Athenas weaknesses were evident, only her veteran instincts allowed her to retain.

The main event between Marina and Athena was really good, but why couldn't this be on tv? They only have one women's match on Dynamite every week, and it's always usually a random match that lasts for a few minutes, and it's almost always Britt Baker or Jade Cargill squashing someone. And they wonder why people complain about their women's division.

What I heard is that the one women's match per tv episode is a directive that comes from the Turner network (not sure whether it's true, but given their history with WCW it could be), which may be why women are instead regularly largely featured on Dark. Hopefully the recent main event between Hayter and Shida will not be a one off...

Being there to watch it live on Friday of last week, vs watching it on YT is a big difference, the pyro felt warm from where me and my group were sitting, I can't imagine how hot the pyro felt for those that sat literally right next to it, I also didn't expect there to be Dark, then Rampage, then Battle of the Belts V, then more Dark without a stop Edit: Some of the matches, I called them AEW vs DOA. Athena and Marina had a great match. But I'm not surprised they did. Athena is my favorite for months now. And marina has really great in ring skills and a unique fighting style.
