I had my a daughter had her ears done at 6 months. My husband had a fit. When my daughter was 13 years old, I ask her what she wanted for her birthday? She said, My ears pierced. Go figure.

What about waiting until they ask to get their ears pierced?. I would never inflict unnecessary pain on my child for my own gratification which is exactly what they are doing.
