$7 Indian Street Food in Singapore's best hawker centre
Even in 2024 you can still find affordable food in one of the most expensive countries in the world!
This week we are in Singapore heading to the Little India district. We take you with us and show you this vibrant neighbourhood and discovering the best place to get some local Indian food. The Tekka Centre is one of our favourite hawker centres in the country, with a wide variety of delicious food.
We meet some friendly locals and tuck into a delicious lamb biriyani from a Michelin guide hawker stall before trying roti paratha for the first time.

Nice video! Could you please assist me? I'm heading to Singapore next week and I'm curious if hawker centers accept GrabPay or cards, or if cash is still the mostly accepted method of payment.

Great question! We always pay cash but I believe some scan and pay systems work over there!
