I’ve been ill with liver disease, until I ended up with liver cancer. Because I’ve been in support groups, I’ve known 28 other people who had liver disease that have died. Including a my son’s father. So many times I’ve missed out on success because I was sick. I’ve felt so lonely and lost…then I found yoga. It’s the pranayama (I think that’s breathing) it has me breathing below my sore liver. Somehow listening to Sadhguru, I come to see my success. I’ve survived when so many haven’t. I’m alive to enjoy my eyes, my tastebuds, my human brain. I am a success and I’ve determined this based on what I value. I value this life as a young soul. I want it as long as I’m feeling well enough to live it.

Great video. We are all seeking for financial independence and a better way of life. This is not difficult to achieve with savvy investing, a frugal lifestyle, and cautious budgeting. I'm glad I learned early on to work hard for financial independence. As Warren Buffet said, he has seen this happen many times in his life. Not an investor, My husband and i never earned more than a middle class salary. We plan to get retired at 58 with a stock portfolio worth $4M. We have never sold so much as one share of stock.

Most people do not understand the power of compound interest or are just impatient. However, for the average Joe, I think it's better to invest in the S&P 500 and wait, which is reliable, albeit extremely long: many years, or just use an investment advisor and speed up your wealth creation. Most people underestimate the power of the latter.

I agree with you. I started investing on my own, but I lost a lot of money. I was able to pull out about $200k after the 2020 crash. I invested the money with an investment advisor and in seven months raised almost $873,000.

Words fall short of expressing my gratitude Sadhguru. Just 60 days back, I was a different individual and now with your input and guidance, I am waking up at 2 am at night with only few days exception of waking up early at 3 am. This simple step has enabled me to have huge benefits of greater proportion. My average sleep time has now reduced from 9 hours to 3 hours.

If you determine the amount of tax that you'll owe and would rather not pay it to the government, then you could choose a charity to give it to (make sure it would be tax deductible). I'm not sure what you do for work, but either you are running your own business or you are working at home for some other company. If you own your own business then you can reinvest the income within the LLC without having to pay taxes on it (ie. Don't take a salary above what you need for expenses and reinvest into the business). Otherwise, you could try to set up an LLC where the company that you are working for directly contracts with you. In such a scenario you could deduct parts of your everyday expenses (part of the electricity is for your business), you can even start charging your LLC rent for whatever work room you are using (needs to be a distinctly different room) and thereby lower the taxes paid before paying rent. Generally, taxes aren't a last minute planning, but something you should plan for the year ahead. Regarding investments: We're in a recession and the bond yield curve implies that the Fed will pivot from quantitative tightening to quantitative easing sometime in the second half of 2023. Whenever they pivot is when you'd want to invest in either housing or the stock market. In the meantime, if you have money to invest, you could put it into preferred shares that yield dividends. Pick them out beforehand and then wait for a credit crisis (likely to occur due to the Fed's actions) to cause a major drawdown that way you can buy them. Back in 2020 I was able to get a lot of preferred shares with mortgage companies that yielded >12% per year. I even found a baby bond that returned >100% within the year. I'm not a tax advisor or financial advisor btw, just someone that's studied these things a lot (I also have a small real estate business and invest in the stock market). Oh also, if you decide to buy a home, look into "house hacking" as it's a phenomenal strategy to lower your living expenses.

I’ve come to Sadhguru later in life, after the sudden death of my fiancé. At my lowest I decided to put my spiritual life ahead of all else. The despair was killing me. Through my grief and stress I’ve learned how innate our well being really is - that we do not need to pursue it but simply allow it. Sadhguru’s gift - that he shares with us - is his ability to “update” these ancient teachings for our modern selves. He says “once you taste it you won’t be able to live without it”. He’s telling the truth. The only point I want to add is yes, getting up early is beneficial (very) but requires going to bed early. That changes with meditation and proper eating (need less sleep) but going to bed late and getting up early is NOT good when you first start this journey.

I applied most of his methods to my life (including isha kryia meditation) and I see much improvement however sleeping anything less that 6-7 hours per day makes me feel tired and takes away from my energy. Isn't success just a man-made almost arbitrary social-drama thing? What is the use of achieving random things? The bigger question is: What is worth doing? What is the real or true highest thing? Maybe we might even discover there is no highest thing, and everything is just the way it is? How can you find out that unless you do a million things and try everything out? How will someone find out the real truths if he is just focused on one random thing all the time?

Yes you get to define success yourself in a kind of random manner. Success is a man-made concept. So is what you call “the real or true highest thing”. Sadhguru views the pursuit of success as a way to break limitation or boundary externally. But if you pursue it externally, you will never be satisfied - there is no “true real success” which once achieved you then fulfill your life in an ultimate manner. You will always want more and not be satisfied with where you are if you seek breakthrough externally. So eventually people will turn inward - the faster they achieve external success the quicker they will turn inward, realizing that no external success will bring any ultimate fulfillment or satisfaction. I think given this view, it is not so important to pick the right kind of success to pursue in the first place - it doesn’t really matter. It is also fine not to pursue external success at all, according to Sadhguru. But if your inner being is already joyful and alive, it doesn’t hurt to pursue some external success, and under that inner state of joy and aliveness you probably won’t keep asking the question of “what is worth doing” or “what is the highest thing”. You will just want to bring certain change to the external world, and you will just strive to do it.

Most of us are poor, poor in knowledge about the One and Only Thruth. You see, we don't have to travel over the world to meet our guru. If you think so, then he is far. But if you put your knowledge into practice, your only travel is the inner travel: right to your spiritual heart. And you will surely find him, your guru, there; then he's nearby.

Sadguru’s videos are becoming unnecessarily long winded and boring … so commercial and against what He is supposed to stand for. Please change the format to improve viewer interest and support. eg .. say the title is “3 ways to improve your life” … (1) Start with listing the 3 ways 1. Blah blah blah 2. Blah blah blah 3. Blah blah blah. (2) Then continue with an intro and relevant info. (3) Then do the adulation bit. What you don’t seem to realise is that you can really overdo things based on your own sentiments. Other people are not u, and the intro dribble IS really annoying and irritating to others - especially if they have watched your other videos. Be slick and to the point …. Don’t try to be commercially clever at any cost ! Otherwise, thank u Sadhguru for the enlightenment, sincerely appreciated ! Harry
